and upgrades to the Throwing Meter, which will reflect each player’s arm strength based on attributes.

Really digging the new ball physics and stadium ambiance being taken to a whole new level.

But what might have just sold me for now and ever more is this:

New Camera System (PS3)MLB 10 The Show is set to raise the bar for sports gaming and offer the most robust and realisticcamera system available. Camera positioning will make you double takeand make sure you’re not watching a live MLB telecast.
If this is what I think it is (including a new broadcast camera angle for gameplay), we are in for a real winner this year!

Ok...is it March yet!?

The addition of the HR Derby mode is huge for me. There are times when I only have 15 mins to game and I can get my MLB fix through the HR Derby.

I want to know if the audio has been upgraded. Is it the same 3 man booth? One weakness of the Show series is that I don't get the vibe that the 3 guys are in the booth at the sametime. I'm not a fan of either colour guy.

Also can you save during exhibition games?

Is there going to be improved load times?

Awesome!!! Can't wait!

Also, I really want to see this broadcast camera...

Very Nice!

First Question: What was the "surprise feature" that was being held back, or did this not make the list?

Improved online play is not only welcome, but a must for this game to reach it's true potential.

I love the improved ball physics, one thing that was sorely lacking IMO. Plus the throwing meter seems to be fixed.

This game was already a must buy this year, but now it's officially transitioned to "Can't Wait!" status.

User Controlled Pick-offs (PS3) – Want to surprise a base runner with a quick move or lull him to sleep? The new pickoff mechanism will now allow users to choose from a quick, casual, or deceptive pick-off type. In exhibition, season, and Road to The Show modes, you have the ability to decide which move you want to make as a pitcher. As a base runner in Road to The Show you now have to pick up on the pitcher’s move or get thrown out leaning!
I am sooooo looking forward to this.

There was no surprise feature. What it was is that they flew in a few guys from the community here secretly last year, sat them down, and asked them to rip apart the game and tell them what needs to be improved and what they would like to be added.

A mini focus group from OS. We don't know who the people were.

Oh. My. God.

Remember when I went numb and fell out of my chair last year after seeing the broadcast camera on replay for the first time? This time I went frozen and a huge shiver just went down my spine, and my eyes blacked out for a split-second.

Excuse me a sec...

Ahh, you are correct. I didn't see his reply on this a week or so ago...missed that somehow.

And just when I thought I couldn't get more excited for this game, Russell goes and adds more.

This just made my day.

Any word on being able to change the camera angles online?

So is this "throwing meter" in the game now?? Is it like MVP 2005?? I really hope so. I hate throwing to a base and just waiting, wondering if there will be an error.. and then theres the error that screws me over!! and arod never makes erros!!!!!

Cant wait!!

ehhh.. not as many as he had in the first month of my franchise!!!! I hope the throwing meter is like MVP!

And i hope they tweaked the fielding, especially outfielders. They jog to the ball and dont charge!
