How about you all just patiently wait for the Live developers to find a solution and discuss it with the forum? I guarantee you the EA hiatus from this forum has NOTHING to do with them "ignoring" you guys and MORE to do with the fact that they're actually working hard to figure out solutions to the issues caused by the first patch.

EA has had such a huge presence on these forums the past year or so and have built too much good will to abruptly leave the forums unless they were diligently working on something. I'm a 2K10 owner myself, and my fellow owners and I have been "patiently" waiting for our FIRST patch to drop so just give it time you guys will get your issues ironed out.

Great advice! I've done the same and it's much better on All-Star post-patch.

I was actually thinking of returning my 360 copy for a ps3 copy because of the patch. The game was playable before but, without OT and goaltending this may be a killer for me on the 360.

Oh my gosh just stay patient I guarantee you EA is working on a fix for the patch as we speak. There is no way they are going to leave their game in this kind of condition after all the work they've done this year and all the good will they've built in this forum. Just give them some time to discover the issues and make the appropriate fixes that also won't cause any further problems in other areas of the game.

I'm hoping for the best but, you never know. What I do know is I have both systems and the patch killed Live for me on the 360. The ps3 patch isn't out and I want to play Live. So for me, this is an option.

Trust me I'm a patient person but, if I have the oppurtunity to do something then I will. Thanks for the input though.

They will fix it that's for sure on this OT issue. No way will they say wait till next year, but I do feel where you are coming from DirtyJerz32 because it it takes until say Jan/Feb to get this fixed then that is a problem. No one can dispute that.

Personally I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully it's something that can be addressed within a couple of weeks but it is a shame because you almost have to hope and pray that the game is not a close one because you could possibly fall into this OT issue and that is just plain bad and there is no disputing that scenario.

For those who are playing All Star post patch are is it giving the realistic feel like Pro does just more challenging? Also is default Post Patch sliders the way to go? Thanks in advance. Peace!!!!

That's my thinking but, hopefully I'm wrong and it does get fixed shortly. And if they push back the ps3 patch because of this issue I can atleast play some ball without the fear of the game going into OT.

why dont people just play the different modes and see what "feels" best for them? you're gonna get way too many different opinions on this, All-Star was the most realistic pre and post patch for me. turn the foul sliders up to about 3/4 or higher and you'll get good free throw numbers, but again, thats just w/ me playing.

Honestly, I'm just being lazy!!! Did not want to put in the time. I am not one to play 1 or 2 games then decide this is the level for me. I know from exp it takes several games to determine if changes work well or not. But you are right, I just need to get off but and try it for myself since everyones playing style is different at the end of the day. Thanks

sorry about that, it's just that you're gonna get way too many different opinions because you have a lot of different playing styles that will render a lot of different results, so that's why i just play it myself and figure it out. yeh, u can ask and get an idea of what would be better, but i just feel playing it for yourself, you can get the game to play better for "you".

Quick question regarding online play for 360 owners......

DId EA allow us to toggle between reg season/playoff/finals atmoshpere for ranked games ??? Or is it still "greyed" out ??

Have u guys ever thought that the ps3 patch is being delayed bcuz the 360 version was a dummy test, in other words u guys were the testers and us ps3 will get the updated patch(and so will u guys) so be patient pls.

no I don't think so...marcus said on twitter that both patches went on at the same time...but sony still holds it back...because of testing or something like this...

hm could be possible...but hey the patch isn't that bad...but it could be possible...but that they have to make a fix for the 360
