NBA 2K10 Q&A: Retail Copy in Hand

I and a few others were lucky enough to attend the NBA 2K10 launch party here in NYC.

We were given full copies of the game and are willing to answer questions.

The only thing I'm going to tell you guys right now:

NO QUESTIONS ABOUT RATINGS. We already post them in the NBA 2K10 screenshots section.

I don't have a question, just wanted to say amazing job to all of you mods. I've never seen a site take such time and effort to inform its readers.

Oh, and please ban the guy that was being a total ***. I think he has a Bulls avatar. He needs to go.

Go look at Steve's post with the screenshots of every team's starter. you'll find all those players besides Johnson in there.

On a side note, I was fortunate to be at the NBA2K10 party for media coverage representing Operation Sports. Me, Richard Chavez, and TD from OS got some interviews with Nate Robinson, Brook Lopez, and Andre Iguodala.

We are drafting up event diaries recapping all the highlights of the night and what we came across. It was a great time and we have some good footage so stay posted with that!!! We will try to push out some of the content as soon as we organize it together. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak.

could someone please check to see if a defensive rebound is being counted off of blocked shots? they haven't been in the past.

That was the computer too. I took the charge with... PP I think.

Notice it even says D-Rose was called for the charge on the website.

i have one more question regarding Vince Carter's dunk package, is the honey dip dunk (elbow in rim) still in the game?

in the combine it was still there but from a 2K insider has informed me that the honey dip dunk was remove in the final stages of the game.

that dunk really irks me everytime i see it, it's unrealistic, players won't try to do that dunk in-game cause it might injured them trying to do it. it should only be in a dunk contest not in-game.

and did 2K add Vince's signature dunk which is the inverted 360 off of one hand. 2K seem to fail to add his signature dunk every year and i was really hoping for them to add in 2K10.

on the side note, where there added new animations aside to the ones we saw in the combine? there's probably new jumpshots, ISOs and dunks.

pared can you put up a picture of terrence willams for the njnets, for nba 2k10 plez?? also i saw the videos on youtube the cpu could still score like a million points? i dont see improvement in defense??

This is my only fear about the game, It may be too little(being that incoming rooks seem to be rated high) or too much....

I searched the thread but I couldn't find it...so..does the AI still force the ball to the point guard when bringing the ball down the court? Thanks...
