NBA 2K10 Q&A: Retail Copy in Hand

I and a few others were lucky enough to attend the NBA 2K10 launch party here in NYC.

We were given full copies of the game and are willing to answer questions.

The only thing I'm going to tell you guys right now:

NO QUESTIONS ABOUT RATINGS. We already post them in the NBA 2K10 screenshots section.

Pared,

Thanks for answering all of our questions last night and all of today. We all really appreciate it.

One quick question on my end: Are Byron Mullens and Serge Ibaka on the Thunder roster? I took a look at the screenshots and didn't see them. Nor did I see them on the Tulsa D-League roster. Just wanted to confirm.

LMAO. I was kinda just thinking the same thing.

On a side note, one of my boys went to the party last night, and since they were giving the game out for free like business cards, he got himself a copy(dude doesn't even have a 360).
Going over to his crib tonight with a few other friends. Probably gonna play 2 users per team in a 5 on 5 exhibition setting.
These guys arent sim players either, so this should be a perfect test for Cheese. So i should be able to answer any questions related to possible Cheese in 2k10.

Question MomentousCeltic, were you able to few any of the videos from Konsole Kingz, do you feel that it is a true representation of how the game plays or was the PIP scoring more a result of the Users not playing defense and playing off the ball defense the entire time.

i haven't got the game but can tell you it was just them playing stupid. and if some reason this wasn't the case, and the game always plays like that, then im sure Pared and Mo would have already thrown this game in the trash.

the way they played it made it look like a bad nba street,

Looks like rookies still have silhouettes. That's a huge let down.

If that uni hasn't been announced, I don't think the NBA would let them put it in the game yet.

Yeah I realize that but alot of people are questioning the game, we got a amazing taste last night from steve, now there is just a bitter after taste after people saw the Konsole kingz video, I just want M to respond to give those on the fence now that the game is worth it.

Quick question about the draft classes in Association mode... in one of the screenshots, it listed all of the options with the draft classes (edit, load, etc.). Are we able to edit draft classes each season? Like will that pop-up come up giving us those options after every season in Association mode? That would make it a lot easier on me, so that I don't have to make a bunch of them before I begin my association.

whenever a new player came into the league, if we want to have his official 2k cap would we be able to download him individually or do we have 2 download the whole rosters?

Will Injuries carry over into the next year in Association, for instance if Lebron tears his ACL in January, will he be "magically" healed by the start of next October?

Its probably the same like 2k9, u have to download the roster to get the player. It would be nice if we had the option to download individual players when there added to the game through out the season( would be a nice plus for us roster gurus).

This was in 2k9...happen to one of my players....he missed preseason and the first 5 games....lol could have been a glitch tho.....

A while back we read that the guys at 2k were trying to get David Stern's voice for the draft in 2k10, did this end up being in the game?
