NBA 2K10 Q&A: Retail Copy in Hand

I and a few others were lucky enough to attend the NBA 2K10 launch party here in NYC.

We were given full copies of the game and are willing to answer questions.

The only thing I'm going to tell you guys right now:

NO QUESTIONS ABOUT RATINGS. We already post them in the NBA 2K10 screenshots section.

Thanks Pared. I think the flow of the players in Live move much better and 2K slides too much for my tastes.I really hope 2K can fix this in a patch for fans. there's nothing sim about 2k's player movement. Both games have a chance to be really special.

Live seems to have the better arena sounds of a true hoops game as far as the music goes. You're from NY, I'm from the Chi. Neither game can ever get the Bulls, Knicks, or Jazz arena sounds correctly! But they get the Lakers correct? BOOOO!!!! LOL!

I'm pretty sure he is in the game but I doubt he is on the Grizz since he did sign a contract extremely late, so maybe in the first roster update he might be on there roster, but for now I am sure he is in the FA list

I'll check. Didn't know that. It may be listed as Retro Alt. I saw some teams with jerseys listed as that.

BTW, the Heat's red jersey is GORGEOUS. It has this sheen on the material that has to be seen to be believed.

I'm holding out until I play the full version of Live before discussing things like this. I don't agree with you simply because last year, pretty much all the arenas in Live had the same sound effects. Will have to wait to see if that's the case again.

Let's quell the Live talk here though, for now, until I get my hands on the final copy of it. Thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions. Ok I the first 20 pages and I couldn't believe no one asked this yet. To me, one of my biggest problems with NBA 2K9 was the rebounding. Player like D12, Al Jefferson, and Biedrens should be killing it on the boards. In game, boxing out did very little, players would come out of nowhere to steal rebounds and overall it was just bad. Has this been improved?

Later when you do get into association, can you check to see the simulated rebounding stats have improved? No way should D12 be leading the league with 10 RPG. I hate that crap. What have you seen so far? Thanks.

What color are the Jazz home headbands?

Some pics of the Jazz (Dwill, AK, Millsap, Sloan) would be great; also throw in a shot of Bogut, hope they gave him his moptop and not his neonazi look

hint: TRICK question, Sloan doesn't let Jazz guys wear headbands, we act like grown *** men there folks, not AAU players
