to your post.I frustrates me soooo bad when people get on here and post stupid comments and the stuff they are saying have already been discussed in a previous blog.

with regard to the net... i just feel like i have to defend my engineers here. take a look at the net in this video and compare it to the Live footage you've seen:

not saying the net in Live 10 is perfect by any means, but it actually behaves very realistically this year. the net doesn't "splash" as often as you might think. and when you rattle in a jumpshot, the net is often pretty rigid and barely moves. the engineers who worked on the net sim this year really tried to model it after real world reference and i think they did a pretty good job. there are some things I want upgraded for next year, but i think there's a misconception that the nets should be looser, more flowy, or splash more when in reality that's more the exception than the norm.

Anyway I always felt live 09 had a better D and I think live 10 will have even a better D

The net is fine.. Nets are Different where ever u play, Playground, at the Y, Driveway, Nba..They react different, Stringy nets, Heavy cotton nets, the short nets from Kmart.

The nets dont always splash and sometimes on jumpers you barely see them move, because the ball goes through them so fast.
Well, that video was an eye-opener. I'm used to more of a splash where I play so i'm guilty as charged.

at the end of the movie i saw josh smith ( i think it was josh smith) shoot a shot off of the backboard. can we control shots off of the backboard this year?

I think they said something about when you get in the air...to direct your left stick in the direction of the backboard.

Mike good job with the game this year. I just wanted to say that the net movements in the game looks very realistic. It looks the most realistic than any game I have seen. Keep them the way that they are please
Umm any game can become a dunkfest if you dont know how to play defense!!! I simply am stating my opinion and when the game comes out and i am proved wrong i have no problem admitting it. But it is my opinion and thats whats this is for. I am not attacking this game or saying its garbage. Plenty of people prefer the style that Live offers i am just stating why its not for me. When it changes then I might actually start playin the game again.
I definitely will try it out sir. They are making great improvements each year. But it is important for Live fans to never be satisfied because thats how they got in this situation to begin with.
