unfortunatly I live in South Africa, so I don't have a chance with the demo (I'm not even going to try with the 1min demo).
I'm surprised with all the negative feedback, I thought everyone is going to be very happy...

What's up with the messed up helmet stripes the sideline players have? Most of the Cowboys players, their stripes don't even reach all the way down in the front. Looks like a lightning bolt or something right down the middle
I went to gamestop wenesday and the guy old me that the code doesn't go into affect until 9. He said he doesn't know is it a.m or p.m
First off..Nevermind the bashers in here..there will be MANY, all you gotta do to verify a ***** is look at their post history..it speaks a thousand words for their true motives...
...i'd like to REMIND everyone that this is a demo, its a demo thats beta and its also missing things, missing tweaks,etc..for a 1gb demo, retail is 7gb so.... its "obviously" missing alot of stuff but with that said..i was quite impressed with what i saw and played thus far...
The very first thing that i noticed was the entire presentation package is SOOOO MUCH BETTER, The freaking menu is BAD A$$!!!!...FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY after you score a TD the animation goes/links directly into a celebration TD!! << Instead of just standing there like a zombie in the endzone like last years madden did or this years NCAA does... You guys just dont know how much of a difference that alone makes scoring in madden so much better feeling....oh man this makes Madden feel so much better and brings a whole new level of excitement during actual gameplay and this is just coming from a beta demo with ALOT of things missing but yet i was still left impressed.
The next thing i noticed was the graphics.. oh my GOD! Sexy Sexy Sexy... all at 60fps...nice job EAsports...i was totally impressed with how the visuals look compared to last years effort..what ever you guys did, you did right and it clearly shows with the graphics..even the crowds seem better looking..hard to explain but the overall look is just BEAUTIFUL!
Oh the multi team player celebrations and sideline cut scenes are freaking ACE! Again, i cant stress how important this stuff is for the overall feel and excitement of a sports videogame..Madden10 delivers in this area as good as NFL2k5..seriously the only thing 2k5 has on M10 this year is the half time show and commentary and a bit better overall flow of the game..thats it! Again, the visuals and presentation is a HUGE upgrade over last year..im still sitting here in awe with what i just played and its not even the final stuff yet...and i just experienced a snippet of whats to come Aug 14th!!
Now the gameplay..i dont get why people are saying ROBO QB is back..thats ********, i dont see it at all. Lets NOT FORGET *DUH* there will be completed passes but i had quite a bit of missed passes on out routes, up the middle, swing,etc..it was all a mix which i loved.
The running game is where its at baby!! The slower speed has helped me out TONS with this demo..i can now FINALLY see holes open up with enough time for me to run thru them...changing the game speed is HUGE blessing to me..thanks!!
The AI looks fun and challenging...it definately dont see it any "worse" then NCAA10..thats for sure, infact its a bit more refined then NCAA10 was out of the box... with sliders at hand with retail..it should be pretty awesome to tweak this game to perfection.
I cant really say much more..i mean the game is loads better then last year in every way so if people want to know if Madden 2010 has improved over Madden09...Oh my god, it has to a very big margin...its a no brainer guys..we finally got a FUN and EXCITING game of NFL Football!!
Props go to Ian and the rest of the crew with the big turnaround over this 1 year...you will get my money come Aug 14th..
EDIT: A few gripes i have..animations need to be smoothed out in alot of areas Example.. when you send a guy in motion..its that unnatural swivel/turn of the player turning in motion that ruins the flow..its something i can live with this year but madden dev's need to smooth this out for M11 and of course the commentary needs a total revamp..although no commentary is in the demo..i know it stinks....otherwise overall this will be a blast to play next month

Ok possible issue.
Last play of the game (I'm winning) and say heck with it and go for a 60 yard fg. Ofcourse I am short and Cromarte catches it in the endzone... instead of trying to run it back to win the game he just knees it. WTF?

Hixon just took a missed FG back for a TD on me. Crazy. Folk layed a pretty good hit on him but couldn't take him down
