Well to be honest if you wait until august to complain what would be the point?

I mean really what do you think would happen if you complained AFTER the game was released? My guess nothing would happen it would be far to late.

Well we are practically in the final quarter of tuning man, so what else is there to say besides positive things? It goes gold in July, do they have enough time to re-write the running animations? No. Do they have time to re-write the commentary? No. So, yes, I am waiting until August, when this game is in my hands at a Midnight release party at Gamestop to complain.

I didn't notice that or the red dot until I read these comments. I'd rather have the red dot less noticeable or off, but it isn't a big deal to me. As for the 'Sonic feet,' I didn't see that at first either and thought you were exaggerating, but when I re-watched the video it was pretty ridiculous. Hope that gets some tuning.

The game looks good though. The pocket looked good on the Hasselbeck pass, but not so great on the Sanchez one. I'd say they were playing on a Pro or something, though.

And like I said before, it's the same deal with the celebration squares last year and that's something you didn't see up to 40 times a game like you will with passing. I'm fine with it being there if it can be turned off, but if not then they made a judgement error here. I don't know about other games and I'm not too concerned with those. I play football games, that's all I know and I know this looks ridiculous to me. And hopefully, if they have time and haven't done so already, they'll do something to fix that hideous thing. I was certain they'd learned their lesson after the heat they took for the celebration squares situation.

Yes, but this marker is oversized... it's not just a standard marker. It looks like a UFO landing pad, lol. They might as well made it lime green and glowing...

I hated last gen's, too. The arrowed circle... oh lord.

I'd rather they'd just kept doing what they were doing with this as they'd been all generation. I'm pretty sure if they hadn't changed it people wouldn't have even thought about it.

Every time they implement something new they try to force it and it's always gaudy and overdone. Weapons, Vision, Celebration Squares... the original Fight For the Fumble was gaudy as hell. Thank God I was able to complain early and often about that one, because we almost had a meter that went over the players and looked like Super High Impact Football.

I love their intentions, I just don't get why they design this kinda stuff without considering how gaudy it looks.

WOW....everyone needs to relax. This is the first video you have seen with this red dot. EVERY other video has NOT had the dot.

This clearly means that most likely you can turn it off!!

LOL. I've played the actual game. The Big Red Cirlce was there all the time. No ability to turn it off.

Also, you might wanna take another look at the new Cowboys-Eagles vid. The Big Red Circle is in there and very much visible.

I am totally going to use those things every time I play with or against Seattle.

You think they look bad now, imagine them with the silver parts of the throwback uniforms thanks to our mix-n-match abilities.

...and the red target thing doesn't bother me. I suppose it could have been a different color, but knowing where the ball is going is a good thing in my book.

Fair enough. Didn't seem like a big deal to me and hopefully you can turn it off for those who find it distracting.

Wow that looked like an ancient build of the game. It must really piss Ian off to have to see vids like this posted. All it does is start new threads that trash the game because some people don't have enough common sense to look at the video and see that it was taken from an older build. Anyway this video does nothing to show what madden looks like right now and therefore everyone should just stop discussing it.

99% of this thread is about a red circle. Not many people in here trashing the gameplay vids. Hardly anything was shown anyway, the ONLY thing I got from the whole vid is that the Seahawks will have the lime green jerseys, and some of those rookies are hard to watch get interviewed at this point.
