This is unacceptable. They can make you aware of when the ball is going to land by improving the ball physics and using a different camera. The ball should never leave the screen. I don't know who thinks that it is a good idea not to have a camera that always keeps the ball visible but it is a blunder in my opinion. Absolute game breaker. This game looks like 09 with some tweaks.

But when they implement these things, they need to consider how it's going to look, lol. It does matter if you're going for the immersive factors of recreating an NFL Broadcast.

The other thing is that they shouldn't create things assuming everyone has the same issue. I have to be honest when I say I've never had an issue locating the ball. So when I saw this at CD, I jolted back like "are you kidding me? What the hell is this?"

Didn't see one at CD, but I sent Ian some docs pleading the case to remove it or at least let us turn it off. If it works for some that's fine, but it still looks out-of-place, and people who don't need it should be able to turn it off.

I think the vid looked bette than last's years stat's. Yea they f***ed up for 4 years but they are going in the right direction to make it a better game.

Yes that look like it could get annoying. Hopefully there is a option to turn it off. Are hopefully Ian would be willing to ake it out before it goes gold.

True, but they should try to make it more subtle or something because that big red circle is ridiculous and just take away from the realism

Nice find...always fun to listen to the rookies "debate" their ratings. As for the video...not really much to see. Maybe what, a minute at best of gameplay?

Exactly , i dunno why anyone would expect a whole nother game , every few years its the same thing with tweaks, just the way it always is.

I think that will be very useful as a defender. Its damn near impossible to play safety in 09 because: A. The speed of the ball is so fast and B. Cant tell exactly where to go to make the pick/swat.

A small detail, but I noticed that players don't make imprints in the snow after getting knocked to the turf, but their footprints, however, do show up in the snow. I think this was an issue with last year's game too. Just a small detail, but it would be cool to see how the field degrades after numerous plays in the snow.

i think they did it like that to give you a sense of where the ball is in co-op mode. timing may be more important to catching this year

Ball speed is no longer an issue in my opinion. At CD the passes came out much slower than in the past. You can see a bit of that in the first pass Sanchez threw in the vid.

yeah I was more interested in the crazy Seahawks jersey than the gameplay... I'll save my gameplay judgements till after E3.

Fantastic, all the better to have this feature. Real ballers play safety, not de.

Even so, I don't see the need to force it on us in every other game setting. Someone had to know how this thing looked before it was greenlighted.

On/Off's are fail-safe's that they need to become good friends with, seriously. This looks more ridiculous than last gen's moving arrow circle junk they were doing.

I don't know about that. I thought you had to play every position...

But my main point is, if some people want it that's cool, but let folks who don't want it turn it off. This is kinda like the celebration square situation all over again, except this time it's probably too late for them to do anything about it if they haven't already.

cherone21 - Listen to you "This is unacceptable...yak, yak, yak...Absolute game breaker...yak...This engine is broken." Go play in a volcano instead of coming up here just to hate and act like you are BIG GAME DEV ALMIGHTY!. Stfu...
As for the red bulleye deally thing, I am almost certain that Ian and co will not leave that without a toggle option but actually, I first seen that in the co-op clips so it could be related to that, like someone else said.

Our first "Game Breaker" declaration for Madden NFL 10 perhaps? cherone, you realize when you post things like that, you're justifying everyone who makes fun of the "typical OS poster" with their claims of "GAMEBREAKER ZOMG!!!!" for every stupid little thing, right? Thanks for adding to the material, pal.

As for the little red circle, as long as there's an option to turn it off, who cares if it's there? Baseball games have had this for years. What's the big deal?

I like the Seahawks green jerseys. Very unique IMO.
