This video better be like 10 mins long. Theres no way its taking em like 12+ hours to get it compressed and uploaded. NOW its getting ridiculous.

I'm starting suspect they aren't worrying about it. Sorta set it on the back burner. Which is fine, but tell us it wont be out, don't make us think its coming any second.

never would have I imagined that a potential video/blog, or the lack thereof for that matter, would cause this much hysteria.

Oh wait...this is OS...

Exactly...my gut tells me that these guys have already started their Memorial Day Weekend's at this point we most likely won't be seeing this video until next week. I think most people are up in arms about the lack of communication from EA in regards to this blog. Ian and his crew have set the standard and the flow of information/communication on these boards and the NCAA team just seems detached from it's hardcore community.

Its kind of expected. It would be no different with any other game's fans if a development team did this. When you say you're going to do something like this, its expected that you do it.

Unfortunately something is preventing them OR they are struggling to get something done to get this out.

Its really not that big of a deal. It'd just be nice to be informed a bit better than we are now.

EDIT: (I'm sorta contradicting myself with my earlier post about this lol)

Ncaa will be great because of teambuilders for people who actually use it. I might try teambuilders. But Iwant use that much. But it is a nice nnew feature for use to play with. But ncaa 10 should be great.

I can't wait until some school like Western Kentucky ends up winning this thing and EA gets rid of it. Maybe we should all pick some Sun Belt school and spam the system.

All the "info" we've gotten about Madden and NCAA 10 has done for me is tell me that even EA realizes that the game engine is beyond salvaging and they are just riding out the current-gen systems. None of the "improvements" are going to solve the fundamental problems that each game has. It's still going to be too easy to RUTS, too easy to pass, too easy to get outside the tackles, too easy to pick off passes, too easy to return kicks/punts, and releasing from blocks to make a play will still feel completely random. There will still be glitches that cheezers use online. No amount of procedural awareness or animation steering is going to solve those problems.

I think it's more of a culmination of things. For me, personally, I want to love NCAA this year. All things equal, I'd play NCAA over Madden.

But the past month we've been inundated by the Madden team with their improvements, both in terms of gameplay and presentation. They're really making some great steps forward.

And the NCAA team has given us...teambuilder? Ok, solid enough for those that want it, but let's go up from here. And they went up to...season showdown. And not just once, but twice (well, supposedly for the second time, they haven't come through yet). It's just like, ""Are you serious?" I want to want the game, but they're making it hard.

About the only improvement NCAA really has going for it is the brilliant gameplan feature, but they don't seem to really want to show it off. If Madden put that in this year, there'd be no question which game I'd play.

Give me a break NCAA team, "play like real life football" because you gain points for sportsmanship...Here's idea, why not just fix the actual game like the Madden team has done? Stop trying to push this stupid thing down my throat. Sorry, but..

HUGE FAIL

Edit: Gameplay looked very sketchy

So that blog was basically explaining what a TFL, big hit, FF, sack, pick, swat, catch, and a passing TD is... Wow... Good thing they told me all that because before I didn't know you could force a fumble by hitting someone hard...

Video showed some good gameplay though. I saw a good pocket but I in the Michigan vs ND (I think) there was WR/CB stuff that just looked stupid.

Really?

/just woke up from a GREAT nap/

I play football IRL. I think my skills just doubled,no, TRIPLED thanks to EA's explanation of a sack, forced fumbled, down, chain gang (whew!), yard line, lateral, and helmet.THANK YOU, ELECTRONIC ARTS!!

just open up teambuilder jesus christ!

Well looks like i'll be renting instead of buying. Who cares about SS and the other freakin modes they keep adding every year. I just want a football game that looks, feels and plays like a football game. Everything looks the same as last years as far as graphics and gameplay. Where's the atmosphere? Where's the feeling that its Saturday and I'm in for a hard hitting bloodbath? Why are the players so small? 2k players where twice the size and you got the feeling you were on the field , in the stadium. EA doesn't get it. They keep putting out the same game every year with new game modes that nobody cares about and adding the new year on the package.

# 218 jdr4693 @ 05/22/09 10:07 PM
you guys know whats even funnier. This is just a recycled idea from madden 07, where you could control your linemen and tight end with "lead blocker"

EA stop the gimmicks you FAIL!!!!

That's the vibe I get, but I hope I'm wrong.
