Madden NFL 10 Screenshots: Sneak Peek at the Jags Uniform/Helmet

Just played a full 10 minute quarter game at home on my big screen - Titans (me) vs. Steelers. I won 31-27, Roethlisberger picked me apart (including a deep bomb to Sweed that caught me in man coverage) but I came back with Smash and Dash and scored on the final drive. I saw so many great things (along with a ton of issues that I've got to get fixed asap as well

), but the game overall just put me in a good mood, so I thought I'd share something new and cool.

This hasn't even gone live on our site yet, but I thought I'd give my fellow OS brethren a first look at the Jaguars new uniform and helmet before we post it live tomorrow:

Those pics look great. If the color's a little off, so what? Just keep doing what you're doing with gameplay, and everything else will come into itself.

The fact that people are pointing out a possible error here and now means that there may still be time to get it right in the final product. Surely no one could possibly object to that?

Wow, I am pretty amazed. I too am optimistic about why MJD's feet arent shown. Please tell me that there is a good hidden reason for this

Maybe he just has ugly feet? I don't think that Ian is trying to pull the wool over people's eyes and hide cleats with accents...It's not exactly a "back-of-box" feature...it could just be that the composition of the pic was better without his feet...

Yeah I agree, not stocky enough...

Looks more like Fred Taylor's body than MJD. I hope they can create that stocky body type in the game. In 09 the smaller backs were more scatback, Steve Slaton/Darren Sproles looking, but we haven't seen the MJD/Barry Sanders body type in madden as of yet. This would be nice to see!

I don't think it's the legs, I see it moreso the arms. MJD's arms are much, much, much shorter as you can see in the first picture, comparing to the Madden picture.

I do agree overall though inches need to be taken off MJDs model, legs and arms.

i hope they fix the jags unis every year there is something wrong with their uniforms. hopefully there is time because there are alot of errors in those screens.

The graphics look great, now lets see if the animations are good too. If the animations are still akward looking this game will still look unrealistic in motion.

I take it you appreciate the helmets!!!! LOL....There is alot of people who aren't crazy about the uni's I personally love them..

I think the people who are complaining are just being nitpicky, no game has ever had everything downright perfect in a game. And some pallets of colors just aren't available. But for them to get these as close as they have is amazing. People complaining about name font size or whatever. I mean come on when you are playing the game are you really going to be saying,"damn man if it had the letters bigger he would have gain 2 more yards."

It's all cosmetic, and it's damn near perfect, be happy you got that. Gameplay is what matters, not all the pretty dress up things people keep complaining about. Like the guy crying over colored cleats, seriously first things first. The game is adding so much, minor cosmetics can be additions once the game plays perfect or close enough and when other issues are addressed.

I think the screenshots look great, I don't like the damn Jag's and I still think they look amazing!

Edgerrin James to Jacksonville? I hope so, with these uniforms. Send the man back to Flordia.

Oh yeah... and that would look even better with some editable, Eye black, Mouthpeice and nasel strip.

Maybe they want their favorite team to actually have the correct uniforms. But I see your point, the hose people need to grow up, its not like the team wears uniforms every game.
