Madden NFL 10 Screenshots: Sneak Peek at the Jags Uniform/Helmet

Just played a full 10 minute quarter game at home on my big screen - Titans (me) vs. Steelers. I won 31-27, Roethlisberger picked me apart (including a deep bomb to Sweed that caught me in man coverage) but I came back with Smash and Dash and scored on the final drive. I saw so many great things (along with a ton of issues that I've got to get fixed asap as well

), but the game overall just put me in a good mood, so I thought I'd share something new and cool.

This hasn't even gone live on our site yet, but I thought I'd give my fellow OS brethren a first look at the Jaguars new uniform and helmet before we post it live tomorrow:

im not a big fan of the new unis, but they do look spectacular in madden. that helmet effect is spot on.

Awesome graphics, but ugh, can't say I like the helmet if that's how it will look in real life.

I believe this is why Ian post the images here, if anything is off a hardcore fan of the Jags can point it out and they can correct it. Good eyes homie.

Yea the helmets are sweet. The one thing that kills me about the Jags uniforms, is them not wearing the Blk on Blk anymore. Thats a huge mistake, and dropping the Gold also was a bad decision.

I just hate to see them put so much effort into the helmet and uniforms to make them look good, then blow it because of a stupid name font, that's all.

wow...i just joined the OS forum just to say wow...if only aug 14th could get here faster...you guys are really improving company relations with your fan base...exactly how all companies should be...

I can't wait, this game is going to take forever to get here. Hell Fight Night Round 4 is taking forever and that doesn't come out until june 30th.

It doesn't match at all IMO. The helmet effect completely distracts. Maybe in real life it won't be as pronouned.

Plus it makes them look like Christmas Beetles (sorry, that's probably an Australian name).

After they did what they did with the helmets, I would expect the jersey font to be correct. Using last years font wouldn't be authentic, and I think they want to make the new uniforms have all the details 100% correct.

I dont think the uniforms look bad at all. I just think they messed up bad with no BLK on BLK.
Try to picture how these uniforms would look if they were solid from top to bottom.

Like the White on White
Green on Green
Black on Black.
I think it would look SWeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttt

The new fonts for numbers and letters look good, and the Helmet to me looks hot.
I cant wait to see in live on the football field when all 11 players have it on at the same time.

I would love for the Giants to have these Uniforms with our colors. What we have now is boring, but the colors we have are cool.
