NCAA Football 10 News Post

Check out the new NCAA Football 10 blog. This one detailing the dynasty mode.

"Recruits have undergone an overhaul to when they are created in Dynasty Mode. We are creating a situation where you simply do not "reload" with freshmen every year and instead have to actually allow your players to grow into juniors or senior for the majority of your roster."

Great info man. Game's pre-ordered! Question...in the vid a couple weeks back you mentioned tuning simmed stats. With the sucess Ga. Tech had with a "fullback", were you able to change it where a FB got more carries in a simmed game/season in a flexbone or option offense? Just curious, as I love the option run game. Thanks!

Russ, will there still be FCS East teams in, or actual teams? I'm expecting the latter.

i like being surprised, good stuff here. hey russ, one quick question regarding logos for teambuilder if you don't mind. is it a good idea to put drop shadows on the logos?

This is a very good change. Although the example used concerns me: Does this mean the minimum # of tackles is still going to be 3? It's ludicrous to me to think about a college football team with only 3 tackles, and potentially with only 8 offensive linemen as was the minimum in NCAA 09. Even with roster minimums of 70, every team should have 4 tackles, 4 guards, 10 OL at least.

I hope they are careful with speed progressing, hopefully it stays within reason.

Are the ratings NCAA going to be spread out a la Madden?

A very good blog. This was what I was waiting to hear. But just to let you know, Russ, recruits had 40 times as low as 4.16, not 4.19, in NCAA 09. But glad to know its fixed, anyway.

wow this game sounds good. As long as each year keeps making progress, i'll be happy.
I'll be in line for a midnight release.

Good blog. Thanks Russ! I love the fine tuning of dynasty. Especially, athletes and moving into a position, player progression, recruiting and CPU logic.

I'm getting more pumped with every blog.

Can we remove the visit glitch that has two teams get a player visiting on the same week?

4 anybody, it says tha recruits coming in are not highly rated but will i be able to create a recruit with high ratings

# 17 Potatoes002 @ 04/30/09 10:06 PM
I like they made recruiting harder for teams. Its based off quality of school more instead of location like in ncaa 09... I was wondering why my friend had such a easy time recruiting as a crappy ohio bobcats team. And lower prestige teams dont progress players as well as better team is a freaking awesome feature i never even thought of
