Check out the new NCAA Football 10 blog. This one detailing the dynasty mode.

"Recruits have undergone an overhaul to when they are created in Dynasty Mode. We are creating a situation where you simply do not "reload" with freshmen every year and instead have to actually allow your players to grow into juniors or senior for the majority of your roster."

OMT, no FCS teams in dynasty correct, just FCS East right?

This should definately help gamplay 5-10 years into a dynasty. Last year by the time you got to year 5 all your opponents had a rating of B+ at the most - all the A+, A and A- schools were long gone.

Will players increase in size as they progress? Players coming out of HS are often 20+ lighter than when they leave college.

Will user controlled teams be able to progress faster than CPU controlled teams? (assuming both are small 1 star programs and in the same state)

This looks great! Getting that 97+ speed guy is now like finding a diamond in the rough.

This is something I would like to see too.

It would also be nice if we could have control in training our players rather than making it just random height and weight gains. I know college coaches watch there players' weights and want them at certain weight and strength levels. It could also allow us to customize the team if you want to build strength and muscle to your players or keep them a little under weight and increase their speed. This would have to be done right though otherwise it could become very gimmicky and fake but it would be nice to have a little more control over player progression.

Just a thought, keep up the good work.

Sadly, this was confirmed in the IGN videos. Yet again another year of FCS dissapointment. Creating one CAS program but having no FCS... too bad

i did a season with USC, i was 11-1 at the end of the year, Florida was 12-0 and Tulsa was 12-0
i got left out of the national title,
that's unrealistic

what about freshman like Julio Jones or AJ Green, they walked in as freshman and were 2 of the best out there
i couldn't picture them in the 70's

They would probaly the 83 or 84 OVR type of player. Not in the 70s.

much better than '09, where the top 10 would all be 99's in that same time frame.

The CPU and AI tweaking sounds great.

Now...if the OL/DL is TRULY as revamped as they say it is...and if the Defense is TRULY "back"....then this game just became virtual crack again.

I take it that one loss was to a team like Stanford .

Most of that info is really great.

I'm still a bit worried about whether they are going to go overboard with the Program Prestige Player Progression.

Looking forward to the improvements. The scheduling and stuff is ncie, but more or less expected. Be interested to see all the changes inr atings, recruiting and just knowing the CPU wont recruit like a complete dip is awesome.

# 60 countryboy @ 05/01/09 09:50 AM
I have a question. Will non-conference yearly rival games automatically be locked into the schedule or will we still have to schedule them ourselves?

Ex: Georgia/Georgia Tech, Louisville/Kentucky...etc..
