It has been a very busy last couple months here at Tiburon; all of us on the NCAA Football 10 team have been working extremely hard put the finishing touches on this year�s game. Every day brings us closer to putting NCAA Football 10 into everyone�s hands and we couldn�t be more excited. Last week we released two game play improvements for NCAA Football 10. The first one showed off the Pass Blocking Pocket; and the second was about the new Player Pursuit Angles. Today we are going to reveal another two features brand new to the game: Player Lock and Defensive Assist. While playing defense in Dynasty or Play Now are you the type of person who likes to just take the DE and try and make a play? What about only choosing the FS? Or have you wanted to be the WR on a big third down because you think you can run his route better? How would you like to be able to do this?"

LOOKS GOOD! PLEASE MAKE THE PANTS NOT SO LONG DOWN OVER THE KNEE THEY LOOK LIKE POP WARNER PLAYERS NO ATHLETICISM!!!!o cool really good update! that'll make me want to not sim through all the defensive stuff so i don't mess up with some crazy reconfiguration of the linebacker, and get scored on CAN YOU GUYS MAKE THE MAJORITY OF PLAYERS WITH HALF SOCKS INSTEAD OF SHORT PLEASE? its realistic just like u guys were shooting for www.harvinzone.com/.../percy-harvin-1.jpg ! and different teams half black socks and others white socks as a defult. like Florida in that screen shot, they where black socks

lower body athleticism is needed. upper body is perfect! now lets go for the thighs and calves please! like update the legs like you did the biceps and the forearms from 08-09. it'll be PERFECT!!! gota feel good doing something with talented players in the game

From watching the video its amazing how something as small as team endzones can add to the experience.

I'm pretty sure it's a play now game in the sugar bowl. you can play with any teams.

OMT or Russel Kiniry- Will the player lock or defensive assist feature help out on blocking kicks on special teams? Does this mean we can expect a more consistent, strategic method for blocking kicks in this year's version? This is something I have been wanting for some time as the current strategy is just relying on glitches and a little bit of luck...

Hmmmm Player Lock... sounds like you might have the ability to have every single player human controlled on one team... meaning that you might be able to do 11 vs 11 online?

Love player lock BTW. Great feature.

whoop dee doo....although this feature could be a great benefit for when u want to audible, and/or set up the secondary and the rest of the D without having to rush.

however, i never had a problem with cycling through players on D anyway, I like it better cuz i may spot something preplay or a player might go in motion and i want to be a specific position while on the way clicking to my usual positions on D.

Then.....Defensive assist?
what???
if u cannot play defense then why do even like college football?
if u arent skilled enuff to stop the offense on ur own....why are u even playing, why are u even interested?

I'd rather see news telling us wonderful things like: "NO MORE SUCTION BLOCKING/TACKLING!!!!!"......or i dont kno....."MUCH IMPROVED PURSUIT ANGLES BY THE CPU, PLUS - SLIDERS ACTUALLY WORK!!!!"....or possibly...."NO MORE BLATENT CPU CHEATING ON HEISMAN, ALSO REALISTIC POLLING SO TEAMS LIKE UTEP AND UCF WONT BE IN THE TOP 5 EVERY YEAR IN YOUR DYNASTY!!!!!!!!" or maybe, just MAYBE...."NO MORE SUCKY CONTROLLED UNREALISTIC ANIMATIONS!!!!!!!!!! one more good news thing id love to see one day....."PENALTIES APPLY, NO MORE ILLEGAL TOUCHING GOING WITHOUT FLAGS - AND THE CHALLENGE THE PLAY OPTION FINALLY WORKS PROPERLY!!!!!" -

Both features are "meh" imho.....Not too thrilled of the idea of getting help on defense, not to mention you can't turn the feature off. Automatic turn-off.
