MLB 09 The Show Demo Out Tomorrow

	"I have received confirmation from SCEA that the PS3 demo for MLB 09 The Show is expected to be out tomorrow February 5th. Generally PSN updates at around 3pm PT. The demo is four innings long and features a rematch of the World Series with the Tampa Bay Rays at the Philadelphia Phillies. As mentioned in my community preview write-ups the demo is based on a month old build but it should be a fair representation of what to expect with the final product."

I just started a new season with '08 this past weekend with the most current rosters possible...unfortunately that new season might not get past the first week with the arrival of the demo

Guys my best advice to you is play the game for what it is "a Demo". It is just a small sampling of a bigger pie. Don't obsess over sliders or if you did not get enough hits or walks in a 3 inning sample. Just have fun with it!

Can you all help me out for a second?

I just bought a PS3 and although I have not installed our wireless router yet, I can hook that up tonight.

BUT how does one download a demo? Is it on the main screen when I first turn on the PS3? I pre-ordered 09 but would love to demo it tomorrow.

I often download the US only demos even though im in the UK.

You go into the psn store on the xmb and look for the show demo and download it.

first you have to sign up for a PS online account but dont worry PS network is free. After you do that, go to the playstation store which can be accessed from the main screen. From there just navigate through the PS Store and locate the demo section. Once you make it there look for The Show when its released

As Psycho says, u need to setup a US PSN a/c to download from the US store...easy...the main reason I got my PS3 was the fact it is region free meaning I can get the games that don't come out in Europe..eg, the Show, NCAA titles etc...

I'm curious as to how "old" the build is compared to the one Nem, Jim, etc. played...Not that it matters b/c it'll still be something to passify until the game comes out next month but still

No problem, enjoy! When you go onto the ps3, you may have to enter your psn name and password and then you can set it to auto or manual sign in. Just check everything out before you fire it up to get the demo. You do not want and Show delays!

I hope this is the case. I am soooo ready for this game. I know its only the demo but it should help some until the game drops

There might be a system update that you have to download and install the 1st time you try to log onto the pan store. Like Nem said make sure you get that done tonight cause it takes like 20-30min and that is precious Show 09 time. LOL

Well im def happy for all of you that will be able to get the demo tomorrrow, but as for me i have to work from 6pm to 6am tomorrow night so ill be sleeping til about 3pm here and wont have time to really dl it or get into it... if anything ill do it when i get home friday morning... but ill be checking here when i get up for all the first impression stuff from the demo...
