MLB 09 The Show Demo Out Tomorrow

	"I have received confirmation from SCEA that the PS3 demo for MLB 09 The Show is expected to be out tomorrow February 5th. Generally PSN updates at around 3pm PT. The demo is four innings long and features a rematch of the World Series with the Tampa Bay Rays at the Philadelphia Phillies. As mentioned in my community preview write-ups the demo is based on a month old build but it should be a fair representation of what to expect with the final product."

Soooo I just called my Internet provider (Time Warner)'s tech support. He said that I have a 1.5 MB/second connection speed. I am going to call to see if I can get the next level up which he said is 8 MB/second. But he said for the size file I tried to download (1220 MB), the time that it took to download (~2 hours) was not that far off. Shucks!!! Hopefully I can boost this connection up for tonight's demo, ha ha

You better fire that connection up! With the traffic tonight and that speed my prediction might not be that far off! LOL

What do all of you on here have for Internet connection speeds? And how long does it take you to download demo's?

I don't have a great connection, plus I'll be doing it wirelessly, so that cuts into the quality a little more...it'll take me a couple hours to download.

And FYI, the PS3 store as of late (as in, the past month or so) hasn't updated until probably 7 or 8 PM Central time. I hope Pasta's right and they get back to the usual timeframe, but just something to be prepared for.

Hey guys, I am a first time poster and was wondering if the demo is being released at Noon EST or if it is being released later during the afternoon? Thanks, and I am PUMPED for this game. I think the demo alone is going to be the best baseball video game I've ever played, so I can't even imagine what it is going to be like on March 3rd.

Today is my Birthday, so I am super stoked. Today I will be able to chill and do what I want on my day. My wife asked me this morning do I want to do anything special or go somewhere this evening. I said I am doing something special I am playing the demo all evening.

I am sure my wife will grab a controller also after all we would play rivalry after rivalry in MLB The Show 08.
