I am a hardcore 2K guy so you know. That being said - there is NO FRIGGIN WAY that 2K looks better than Live in the graphics department. None. The player models may be "bulky" - but NBA LIVE screams next gen. I just don't see what some of you are seeing - I think the player faces are for the most part outstanding.
The Palace floor and the piston's bench is the way it should be. I give Live the nod just for that
The screenshots don't do the game justice. Based on the demo, the players look great while your playing, so that's all that matters. I love 2ks graphics as well, especially the faces!
2k has every little detail in there player models. The only issue with live are the faces IMO.

I like the player faces for the most part. Glad I can see LBJ's tat's in his pic as well. After seeing a picture of him with no tat's on his arms... I got worried, haha.

It's the same as it has been for years. Some are really good, then others are just bad. Consistency, like a few have said.

With that said, the player faces are absolute trash. 90% of the league looks nothing like their real life counterpart. And you guys have only seen these few.
As someone else mentioned "Dirk... eww." He has to be the single worst looking face on a recognizable star, perhaps even the entire NBA.
The textures are high quality but the likeness is ridiculously poor and off the mark.
That said, it doesn't make or break the game IMO. There's a lot of good here.... with potential for a stellar game next year. Still, very enjoyable this year. Just needs some fine-tuning.

That's pretty self explanatory. Remember, I'm telling you from what I've seen in-game, not just still pictures.
You know - Dirk ain't the most attractive fellow no matter what version you prefer. I've come to that conclusion.

Whats it matter the purpose of a game is gameplay right and by the looks of it live is back wit there gameplay jus like you 2k fans say that live cant catch up to 2k gameplay well 2k is jus now catching up to live graphics maybe live finally came to a conclusion and said we need to improve are gameplay and thats what they did and thats what matters to live fans!!!!!!
Their modeling is taken directly from what they had in old nba live games. just better drawn and better proportionally perhaps. If anything it's a design issue. NBA Street Homecourt had a 'certain look" too and it kinda made sense there, not always the case for nba live though. it always feels like NBA Live is a toning down of a cartoon...

Ok i will take back any mean things i've ever said about live if some on can prove me wrong about my statement on how the starting five looks good but the non important people look like ****.... my prime example is the guy standing behind kevin garnett in his screen shot who in the **** is that

No one else complain that every screenshot is brought to you by Sprite? Is that an HUD on the replays?
