I dont feel too bad for PS3 people bc the first patch doesnt touch gameplay and unless they plan on re-doing all rosters, only a few people get benefit of it (although they cant get started on new rosters)

By default, your profile is looking at Team Specific for playbooks. I believe this pulls from the Team database on the disk, not the dynasty database on your memory card. What you might want to do is go My NCAA > My Settings > User > Preferences and set your default playbooks there to what you have in Coach Strategy and you won't have to change them every time.

Bascially, you can't take a lead and then take delay of games to run out the clock and exploit the game.
Is this the official rule? I don't know... but it sounds wonky to me. But fortunately this can't be used as an exploit from what I can tell.

also, i can not use the New Mexico State playbook unless I'm playing with that team, no matter how i set it in my profile. at the team select screen i can select New Mexico State's playbook for offense, but in-game it will be back to the teams default. its the only playbook i have tried that did this.

My magic 8-ball says "Outlook Not So Good"
You are all familiar with Murphy's Law, right? "Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and at the worst possible time, in the worst possible way." Well, Murphy seems to be out in full force when it comes to this patch. We got the patch to Sony Friday, they were ready to test it and work overtime during the weekend to test it... and then our test servers went to hell right at the end of the day. Sony was unable to download rosters, preventing them from testing that aspect, so they didn't end up working the weekend. We have people working on the issue now and if we are lucky they will be able to fix it in time for Sony to complete testing tonight (3 hour time difference may pay off).
At the rate things are going, I'm probably going to get hit by a bus on my way in to work after the patch is finally approved

I wonder why Microsoft approved the patch when Sony didn't? I thought the games were identical on both systems, shouldn't the patches be too?
Thanks for the info. At least knowing whats going on makes waiting a little easier.
