"Now that we know what features are coming with NCAA Football 09, what should we start looking for in 2010?

The hype in the forums for NCAA Football 09 is building exponentially with the game still over a month away. With new features such as online dynasties, wide-open gameplay, and deeper playbooks, some folks are already planning vacations to meet the July 15th release date. A main contributor to the hype has been the presence of NCAA developers answering questions in the forums. This involvement by the developers has been a pleasant surprise and the response by community members has been amazing. Since development of NCAA Football 09 is nearly wrapped up, let's take a look at what we want to see in NCAA Football 2010."

Formation subs, pre-game warmups, FCS, playbook editor, and endzone art... I need the real college football feeling back!

I would love to see:
More Alive stadiums: When i'm playing with LSU at a night homegame in a 1-2 match-up it should be electrifying and an almost real game experience.
Announcers that aren't a play behind.
Better game music rather than the stupid fight songs.
Offseason training regiments you can set up for your players, and a more career based dynasty mode to work your way up in the college football world.
A deeper recruiting system.

In 2010 I would like to see what makes college football special. Real life animals, Bevo at Texas, Uga at Georgia, Ralphie at Colorado are just a few. Cannons in the endzone. Fog when home teams come out, and boos when the visitors come. Fights or scuffles in tense rivalry games. Fans charging fields only when they upset someone at home. Late hits with player reactions. Coaches throwing headsets/clip boards when players dont block, miss tackles or similar "easy" plays.
When you watch a college game you see this just about every saturday and it is what college football is about.

I would love to have to have homecoming games and be able to talk to your players about the game to pump them up before, halftime, and end of the game.singniture entrances, players breaking the ncaa rules of the field and we have to suspened them, and hearing the band play songs

The thing about college football is, you never know what is going to happen. teams have different plays and all of the that. But i would like to see different ways to do an onside kick. Without the other team knowing its coming. For example have a regular kickoff, and the kicker just barely kick it. Where he is allowed to fall on it. just something to think about

THESE ARE SOME CHANGES I WOULD LOVE TO SEE

-customize helmets and jerseys

-coaching staff and refs

-towels and hand bags

-pads sticking out when making a tackle

-back plates sticking out of jersey

-fighting for fumbles

-fighting during rivarly games

-show a pregame

-run through tunnels and breaking panners

-show real life masscots

-like Rennagade and Bevo, and Boomer And Sooner and the wagon etc.

-[ Players Hurt]

-make them show they are in pain

-or joggin off the feild

-not to be brutal

-but show some blood

-[Def]

-show some big hits

-have helmets comeing off

-show teamates celebrating

-[Pads]

-have different pads

-neck pands and anckle pands and knee pads

-whith different colors and visors

-have different cleats and socks to choose from

-[Weather]

-[Rain]

-show player getting muddy

-show the slipping try to make plays

-show the uniforms getting dirty

-show the field messed up from the players

-[snow]

-show cleat prints where players have been

-show the players breatheing heavy

-show snow and dirt in helmets when tackled hard

-[bowl games]

-make it look and feel like a bowl game

-have patches on uniforms and stickers on helemets

-[punt blocking]

-make it where you can block a punt

-make bad snaps or horriable kicks

-these are just some things i want to see

Bring back the old teams

For example FSU Seminoles 93

bring back the classic teams of the past

What about Chief Oceola??? BY far the most prestigious mascot in college football and is the only mascot that defines what the school is. The flaming spear in the middle of the field right before kick off would be unbelieveable. For some reason though the ea people haven't found it THAT critical to FSU to show in the game. Come on now. That the one big tradition from each big school should have its own thing. CLemson, Maryland, Michigan with go blue, Ohio State dotting the i, USC mascot plunging the sword in mid field, Auburn with War Eagle, I mean if they could do that, and make the game look realistic at the same time...WOW. Or, they could have a certain clip that goes on before each game to about each team with relevance to the previous meetings or ect like they do before real games on national tv.

first off this is a great list, but i would like to add, that when you take a team like lets say, Louisiana Tech and you have two or three winning seasons with them and you get an offer at the end of the season to move to a stronger conference, the only problem is on your football field it still has your old conferences patch and i would love to see that change to the conference your in

Man I thought I was the only one that use to hate this once my North Texas team made it to The big 12.This has always been a big thing for me on the old gen,And I really thought it would've been fixed by now.

The same thing goes for the FCS teams, I'd love to see EA include these teams in dynasty so you can play for an FCS championship as well.

And maybe...just maybe...we could rearrange the conferences ourselves some day to live out some old school action
It would be awesome to create our own conferences but i doubt it. but hopefully....

E.A. I would like to ask you guys to really take a look at all the the next gen versons of NCAA that was put out the 360 console,And look at were you guys are now with all that your putting into this years game and ask yourself where are we headed with this game?.Well EA I hope truely in that right direction that will make this years game the best the 360 has seen since coming out.I for one would like to see and overall improvement in game play as well COMPUTER AI,Because were lacking in this and all the things that were still missing from this game is the reason we cant move forward on making this game better. So please EA add to this game and take and read our post to help make this game the best to date.

Fix what is on the field. Everything else is just bells and whistles.

EA created a game that looks and sounds beautiful.

The problem is that these fools latch on to a fad, or a theme and then paint the entire sport with a broad brush.

Not every team runs the spread or spread option and not every team can run it well.

Also, please remember that defense does exist in college football.

Just because on a week to week basis you get offensive mismatches based on the talent gap that can exist between 19-22 yr old kids, doesnt mean you have to nuke the defenseive side of the ball entirely.
