Yes you can change the unified tag titles to the WWE or world tag titles someone on caws confirmed this. You have to have either the unified for both or one on each of Monday and Friday. This is how he described it.

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions

A couple of random observations ...

1. I feel safe in saying that Universe Mode is only going to be as good as you want to make it. By that I mean that if you do nothing but sim, it will get stale quickly. Alliances and teams are slow to form, and matches are repeated often (of course, how many times have we seen Orton vs. Christian over the past few months? But make a tweak here and there, i.e. form a new team or give somebody a new rival, and you'll see more of the "remarkable matches" (angles) and see more of what the mode has to offer. Of course, most of you probably already knew that and plan to play "hands on", but I thought it warranted saying...

2. I really, really dislike the kickout meter. I don't know that button mashing is an improvement, really, but on legend difficulty you usually only get one shot at kicking out if you've taken serious damage. I'm going to see if there's a slider to fix this, but I don't recall seeing one...

3. The actual gameplay is really, really good. I'm having a ton of fun just having matches, and I still have barely scratched the surface. There are still guys I haven't used, and I know I haven't mastered anyone...

4. I've seen some weird glitches -- like half the ring suddenly becoming low-res and then turning black. It's only happened once and immediately after a cutscene, so maybe that was the problem...

5. Did I mention how much fun I'm having? I still haven't stepped foot inside Road to Wrestlemania, but just running different exhibition matches has been a blast.

6. Even though it's not supposed to happen, I did see champions drafted in Universe mode. It takes about 10 seconds to fix, but it did happen.

So there ya go. Just a few things that I wanted to throw out there for anyone interested....

Yeah, I was talking about the other two tag championships. If I remember correctly, you can assign any of the three tag straps to your show, but you just can't "get rid" of any of them like you can the singles titles.

I that vein, I'd rather have a more layered approach to move accessibility, even at the expense of freedom of choice. I remember some scuttlebutt about this topic coming out of the early info and community day feedback from EG. Any feedback on this from the full version, jrider?
I didn't play an earlier build, but it seems like you can only pull off more powerful moves once you do damage to your opponent in the retail version. Again, maybe I'm not seeing what other people are seeing or maybe I'm just not remembering all I've seen, but either way I will pay more attention to this when I fire the game back up in a little bit.

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions

Just from reading a lot of the posts here, it seems I'll be doing some major attribute editing again. Hearing that a "leg trip" can wipe out a guys stamina, definitely needs fixed. I haven't seen the attributes that are included, but I'm sure there will be a way to fix this through editing.

So can I put them on someone in wcw brand, so they won't show up? I was planning on just using the two seperate tittles.

I may even dive into movesets

SVR06 was the last "great" WWE game to me. I used some moveset from various people at gamefaqs which made things much more "realistic" and overall the matches just looked better.

With the AI being more challenging and with the right edits, I think WWE '12 could be a darn good game.
