Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions

DO the matches in this years version last longer than 3-5 minutes?

This has been a problem for years in SVR.
I hated having a nice PPV main event like HBK vs Edge, and never seeing the CPU try to do rest holds/ground grapples.
In a long match it adds to the realism and strategy.

Thanks.
The fact that the cpu would try to wear you down was one of the reasons I loved Day Of Reckoning on the Gamecube.
The AI will definitely try to you wear you down. They take full advantage of the new limb targeting system and use transitions constantly. And once you wear down a particular body part, the effects are noticable.

They have for me, but everybody plays the game and approaches matches differently. I try to play as "sim" as possible so that might drag out my matches. Plus from what I have seen it takes longer to build momentum, which in turn means it takes longer to get your finisher.

Re: WWE 12 Retail Impressions

They really need to work on the pin system. No way Big Show should be pinning Mark Henry after he pulls his legs out from under him. They need to give you more leeway to kick out after moves like that. The CPU would at least have to use a high impact move or preferably their finisher to get the pin.

Agreed,

The leg trip dramatically reduced the blue bar from the previous pin attempt a minute before lol

How you go from this much --> [___] to [ ] <-- that much with a move as simple as a leg trip
