Body up sensitivity at zero

Okay I'm voice texting this so if it doesn't make sense that's why. I seen a video of some sliders and this guy's sliders were off the charts he had like inside shot success medium shot success at like 70 which I thought was a little bit crazy but when it showed his body up sensitivity for the user and the computer it was at 0 so I tested it out and I know a lot of people have been having trouble with when they're playing against the computer or playing online and people play off-ball defense especially when you're playing against the computer when you go to the right or the left of the Court the computer blocks you off like there is a invisible force Shield there so I tested this lighter the body of sensitivity at zero and it actually works just wondering if anybody else had any insight on this

I'm also wondering what how low values play versus high values on this slider...

Do lower values make it harder to drive past defenders or do higher ones?

How does this affect interactions in the post?

Is it easier to back down a defender at a lower or higher value?

Thanks.

Found this:

Looks like lower makes it easier to get past the defender and higher does the opposite...

Agree?

This is with the assumption that all sliders stay the same? I have seen a body up slider increase relate to suction cup tight defense from CPU.
I think if you're trying to see changes in the defense you'll need to look at a few sliders. Hustle, help defense, and hands in particular.

I'm currently interested in isolating the effects of that one slider...

I'm familiar with what the rest do...

Basically with Body Up set low, the game will trigger fewer collision animations. You’ll see defenders standing clearly in the way of the path to the basket, but the dribbler will just keep dribbling and the game will not trigger an animation to have the two players interact. It looks bad and feels worse.

That’s why I max out Body-Up Sensitivity. This way, if a defender is nearby, or directly in the path to the basket, the game will almost always trigger a related animation. It does not cause the constant “brick wall defense” of past years unless you have other defense sliders (On Ball D, Lateral Quickness, etc.) high enough to keep the defenders directly in front on dribble-drives (although elite defenders will shut you down on multiple occasions).

Does this affect contact on layup animations as well? I assumed it was for driving/ball handling situations

Just for perimeter and driving contact animations. Contact on layups has to do with the Defense slider section.
