NBA 2k15 "The Eccentric Edition" - Realistic Slider Set

Update: July 25th - 2K Default Roster Slider Set v1.1

Not much has changed since the last update, but these tweaks clear up a few minor issues and make the gameplay just that little-bit better. I've said it before and I'll say it again: In my opinion, my slider set takes an already great basketball video game and turned it into the absolute best playing basketball game of all time. Now I know that is a huge, slightly-arrogant statement, but let me put it to you this way: The basketball season is over, and constantly testing and tweaking sliders can really drain on you and make the game a chore to play, but I'm STILL playing this game at 1 in the morning instead of The Witcher 3 and Grand Theft Auto V.

Want to take things to the next level? Do yourself a favor and download EmbraceThePace's roster on PS4. He and PJT (one of my all-time favorite roster-editors) have joined forces to add all the offseason moves AND tweak player tendencies to give the most true-to-life gaming experience I've ever seen. Thanks to EmbraceThePace and PJT, it looks like 2k16 came early this year! And yes, my sliders are 100% compatible with their roster, so do yourself a favor and download it RIGHT NOW.

As for all of the XB1 users out there, I'm scanning the forums to find something similar, but as I don't have an XB1 I cannot be fully sure which custom roster will work the best. From what I can tell, Hype/DC or perhaps Stakzz & Rondo4Life seem to be your two best bets right now, so give them a try and let me know!

But enough talk, on to the sliders!

Gameplay Settings
Difficulty - Superstar
Game Style - Simulation (Custom)

This camera view makes the game come ALIVE! It will take a few minutes to get used to, but I think that once you do you won't be able to play the game any other way!

Spoiler

Leave any and all CONSTRUCTIVE feedback here, as I love to hear what you guys like/don't like about my set so I know what to work on! Try to point out what you are seeing too much of (ex. The AI attacks the basket too often), what you're not seeing enough of (ex. The AI does not go to the post often enough), etc. And also, it's just fun to see the results everyone is getting and to have a discussion on what can be improved/what should be left alone.

Here's a simple resource I made to help depict what exactly "realistic stats" should look like:
NBA Stats to Replicate with Sliders

Also, feel free to give my thread 5 stars and "like" this post if you enjoy my set. It shows others that these are quality sliders, and it makes me feel a little warm inside, too.

Enjoy!

These are some of the stats I got using Poke's superstar sliders and they're mostly sim sliders with a few edits. I'm the Cavs.

Man...where tf have you been? lol. Glad to see you back, you had a hell of a set last year, I can't wait to see what you come up with this time. Poke and Cycloniac have been holding it down so far this year.

Finally you're back!
I think that some of the problems with 2k are cpu ridiculous comebacks, and I'm talking turning over 20 points lead in the 4th quarter! Also, the cpu free throws percentage is way too high IMO.
Besides that, i think everything you do in your slider sets will be amazing as always!

Re: NBA 2k15 "The Eccentric Edition" - Realistic Slider Set

I used to think the comebacks were a problem, but they really aren't. I just watched my Sixers of ALL teams take down the Heat after being down I think 18 in the 4th lol...then on Christmas I saw the Cavs come back against the Heat (just to end up losing anyway) but in general basketball is a game of runs.

EDIT:By the way some the biggest issues in my opinion are (In no certain order)

-Blocked shots by bigs
-unforced turnovers

I have a set that is a slight modification of CY's sliders that is playing amazing for me right now, but those are two areas I would like to see be a little bit stronger

Are these sliders going to be Real FG% Shooting again? If so, I can't wait for this edition of them.
