So not to be a negative Nancy but can anyone tell me what exactly is Kinect about that?

Couldn't the same functionality be done with a gaming headset connected to your 360 controller?

Exactly i was gonna say the same thing but with a PS3 head set.

Well and I am only speculating here but the voice detection part if probably part of the Kinect SDK and to my knowledge all 360's have the software installed but need the Kinects microphone to use it.

So I am sure that MS is not going to let EA tap into that and someone use a headset. Now whether the PS3 has voice recognition software I don't know.

It's cool enough but my Kinect is on a secondary 360 for my kids so I'll never use this.

I got to ask the something, do I need to buy a kinect??? Or will a headset work also??? Cause its kind of cool...I like the way some of it worked, being able to call a play when you see the def setup...im going to keep my eye on this big time...

Looks pretty cool. I'll give it a try and see if I can do it without too much yelling. Mass Effect 3 had this kind of stuff in it too, but I never used it.
