This is an excellent addition for many folks. It suits both hardcore and casual. Most importantly it fits well with folks with a disability such as my man from Madden Challenge "Packwolf" who no longer is able to use both hands. It's that many less commands that folks with a disability such as his are required to do with their hands. This could also go a lot further than just playcalling and audibling in the future I would imagine.

World we live in now though..
I personally don't ever play online ranked games etc.. but understand I'm not the center of the universe and others do use it. So I can understand why it's there and not a waste.

I think I will actually get a Kinect now. Im just hoping that whenever I am playing a user vs user game that my opponent doesnt hear me

Doubt they will unless you have a seperate mic/headset on. At least I hope not.
I'll have both but will have MIC muted unless I have to talk to opponent.

I agree. I have never been able to get into this whole Kinect, Playstation Move or Wii motion controllers. I'm more of a traditional controller person and do not want to play with Kinect or PS move. Though it does sound interesting for Madden, but I still don't see a need for it other than I can feel like the Head Coach anytime I have a head set on lol.
