It's like we are playing different games.

I broke a 70 plus yard TD with Derrick Henry......Derrick Henry! The play was blocked to perfection and I laid the mother of all stiff arms on the last guy on the perimeter standing between me and the sidelines and nothing but green. Safety was trying in vain to track me down. But just missed catching me. Thing of beauty. The running game is amazing now.

My speed differential is at 70

All-pro with my custom sliders.

This patch is freaking awesome.

Games are so varied, feel far more organic and it is back to game we got at release but even better and stable. A ton of the bugs are gone.

Awesome job Rex. Thanks for listening and continuing to support the game long after release.

Madden 18 will be even better.

Some games 6-8 total some 3-4 depends on the teams and their penalty traits. Have had some tough holding calls in key moments as well as PI. Saw some unnecessary roughness a few times on late hits out of bounds.

Try mixing up your plays. I've broke big runs with slower backs without being caught. Not sure what's happening on your end.

Is it me or did defense become non existent in the new patch. I just played a few games where 2nd string quarterback are throwing for 90% completion percentage.

Also, I my run defense all of sudden is trash, every game at least once a running back will break a huge run on me for like 60-70 yard score.

Plus it seems like they shortened the window on the tackle battles which makes it near impossible, so it's an automatic broken tackle or successful tackle by the cpu.

It's not just you. In my online CFM the game is like it was last year. You don't need to have route combos. Just throw 9 route prayers and they are getting answered. Spec tac catch city.

Are you playing offline or online? I'm offline only and am definitely not seeing the QB ACC thing to that extent. I have been run on a bit, but that's a function of my defensive talent, in part. And when I'm run on, it's usually not due to a huge number of broken tackles, but rather, it's due to better blocking and better CPU HB AI.

I do think MCV appears to be less effective post-patch, but I do fine in ZCV vs. the CPU QB, anyway.

As A&S said, I'm also not seeing this. I've just finished season 5 in a SF CFM where my team rushed for 2500 YDS. I broke plenty of good runs, even with guys like Henry, who was my power back in year 5. The zone scheme MIA runs is really well blocked in this game if you have the right players. It requires really good vision and some touch on the L-stick (throttling down while looking for the hole increases balance and cutting ability), but I've had absolutely zero problem running the ball out of this scheme. I've also seen a number of different types of backs succeed for me, from 1-cut guys to speed guys to pure power guys.

Just my .02, but I'm finding running to be appropriate to scheme/matchup/talent.
