My opinion is that it was done to make throwing the ball away easier.

No, there is defiantly still a punt glitch as I posted earlier. I have played several games now and I still experience it. It seems to happen at random. I can play a game or two without it happening, and then the next game it happens nearly every punt against the wind. This is with the CPU punting for both teams. I have noticed that nearly every CPU team now tries to angle punt. I have noticed it most when the wind is blowing directly in the face of the team punting from 6 mph +.

It appears to me that the team punting is attempting a sky high punt, The ball goes about 15 yd’s . When it stays in bounds, the kicking team players scrunch down and the kick returner attempts to make a fair catch. In one game it hit one of the defenders in the back and bounced around and the kicking team got it back.

Once it does it in the game, it does it for the remainder of the game. It is pretty much the way it came out of the box. Extremely frustrating. Physically kicking it helps a little but as you said you only get about 35 to 40 yd’s max.

To avoid the frustration, Just sim the punts. Takes a lot out of the game, but what other option do you have at this point if you want to play. Maybe EA will still fix it but who knows. Obviously some people aren’t experiencing this issue or if they are they are not posting much about it.

OK that then does sound like the old glitch we've all come to know and love. I've only gone through one outdoor game since the patch and as we've seen you have to have the right conditions then it happens all game long. I'll report when I get it in my existing CFM.

They definitely messed with the DB AI with this patch. My DB's are actually rated better in my CFM this season and have all the traits now and they will not defend the passes that they easily picked off last season. Just had a game vs our Ravens owner. Perriman 4 Catches for 208. Just lob up 9 routes and your DBs wont even respond to the damn football.

The purple curl to flat is hosed too.

I've actually given up less passing yards in the games I've played since the patch.

I play with the Dolphins and RUN game has been handicapped........ Realistic stats not even close.......

This is my final post on this matter and hopefully developers will see.....

The game has changed and not for the better, some "Make Believe" system where players commented towards the developers has unfortunately ruined the game...... Prior to this past things were near perfection outside of the OL/DL interaction.

Speed is the major complaint where defense can now catch basically any defender, just 100% unrealistic. If a Running Back, TE, WR gets a break on the ball in the open field he should rarely if ever be caught from behind with such consistency.

Such a shame the developers decided to change the game, honestly do not even know how they can do this to people that have been playing it and not give us an option to revert back......

Quite ridiculous for anyone to say "get used to it" as I can apply that same term to any part of your life and you definitely would not accept it......
