It does. Looking at the video again, I wouldnt describe him as "big and bulky". Again, its in the eye of the beholder.

One other thing. I have been playing NBA video games since Lakers vs. Celtics and I never once looked at or cared about a player's calves. Never noticed it while playing a game.

Gaming is in a much different place now when we are complaining about this.

Do you think maybe its possible for it to not be one extreme or the other? Perhaps the community wanted correct player models not skinny ones when we were complaining about them being too chunky?

Hell I remember playing Jordan vs Bird and Bulls vs Blazers and each arm was like two pixels. Maybe thats why im not so picky.

Only time the muscle definition stuff matters is in close up shots or replay...I (personally) hardly notice that stuff when I'm playing. I totally understand wanting to see greatness visually but some of you guys really take it too far.

The models look fantastic as compared to 2k16 that's a fact. Everything else is everything else and most likely going to be a WIP over the next few years.
This is where I'm at. Constructive criticism is completely fine and it's 2016 so they should be held to a higher standard.

But I played a game called Monday Night Football on SNES for probably 200+ hours and is probably the most memorable sports game for me. If I can enjoy a game that looks like that and play it as much as I did I can enjoy this.

Do I want the players to have definition and more player models? Of course. But I wouldn't even think about it for 99% of the time I'm in game.

Once upon a time, the idea of players with animating faces was a marvel.

Remember how in NBA Live 2000 players would jump so high for blocks, they'd float through most of the rim and backboard?

Now fiends are sweating ankle sizes and having muscle rigs that flex and simulate the real thing.

They'll get on the devs for not having individual hair follicles on eyebrows before long.

I think what the "community" is asking for cannot be achieved nor will it ever be achieved to their level of satisfaction because it is subjective.

Everyone all the sudden became a physiology expert for a video game as if it really is that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. (It's not...it really isn't). If it really ruins immersion for you (not you) then I'm sorry. They are obviously doing what they can in the yearly dev cycle to address the problems but I'm guessing its not as EASY as people here make it out to be.

I'd say just relax and play the game. Like seriously. Just relax and play the game...or don't.

How do you go about that exactly?

For example, some said Durant wasnt skinny enough last year. They made him skinnier this year and some think he's too skinny. Some disagree (I think he looks great).

I could understand if 2k made him 5'10 and he's really 7 feet. But we are talking about slight differences in body size. What you might think is correct may not fall in line with what everyone else thinks.
