Hmm, something strange happened. I was Felipe Luis and made a tackle at Valbuena and missed but clipped him in the box, no penalty. It was a foul, not a vicious tackle by any means but still a foul, he fell but the game continued. Either that's bad coding for refs that went unnoticed or this will be fixed because theres no way they refuse to call fouls lol

Tactics do work better than last year but just not as varied as they were in PES 2013. You have to sift through that convoluted menu to activate a lot of tactics. I have been messing with Bayern Munich a lot and switching them to Front-line pressure with the offside trap on has them play very similar to how they were last year.

There are fouls, but just like FIFA they are tied to dribbling from what I have seen.

I was in the box with vidal last night and moved the RS down and then LS up to exit that way and the CPU barged me off the ball and I drew the foul and was awarded the penalty kick.

I use LT for the special move and that plus using the R stick moves will draw penalties.

Just like FIFA you have to draw the defender into you and do a skill move to have any chance of a foul being called.

The problem with both games is they have these collision systems and what looks like it to us and what really are fouls, are not called.

The main difference between this and FIFA is that FIFA began almost calling auto fouls for all slide tackles to stop users from abusing it.

It's obvious that neither game has the logic built in to assess the collision and deem it a foul or not.

One thing they could do to cheat it is have a halo or focus ability of the ref, if you are near enough to the ref and any type of contact occurs then code it so 90% of the time a foul is called for a strict ref, 40% for a lenient ref.

Then we would have fouls and we would have a reason to believe they were being called correctly.

def agree tactics could be deeper for people who play master league and such.

I just get annoyed with people who complain about AI right off the bat with PES but will spend a year on FIFA sliders to try and get it to play right. They dont try different passing or shooting or tactics or fluid formations on PES though. haha. Hard to trust those opinions.

Hell yeah Royce, the menu hierarchy could use some work. I explained to someone on evo web last night how to set & change your offensive/defensive/custom tactics:

That's pretty cumbersome

Tried them all, no such luck. When the flow is towards the same designation as PES 15, it's hard to trust those opinions as well.

PES purists will never think about adding sliders, but there has to be a way to improve the game out of the box - those options are critical to sustaining playability in my opinion. This is coming from one of the biggest PES "fan boys" you'll ever meet considering my work in globally editing the PES series to make it playable.

Is there any way of downloading the demo for XBOX 360 without being a Gold member?

Silver members typically have to wait at least 1-2 weeks to download after gold.
