Here is what I'm fiddling with.

QBA for both- 20, might try 15 next.
Pass Blocking- 25 for both
Run Blocking- 35 for both. Lynch and Lacy still had some good runs.
Pass Reaction- 60 for both
Pass Coverage- 60 for both
Tackling- 55 for both
Int's- Might lower to 40.

Penalties- 100 for offsides and false start, holdg-55(still none called), FM-35, intentional grounding 75, clipping 54, rtp 54. I might try OPI and DPI ant 1 or 0. Theory is there is tighter coverage with DPI lower.
Played a game with these slider, and the game was pretty solid. Still cant get a pass rush only rushing 3 or 4, and I understand that you dont always have pressure, but 7-8 seconds is a long time to be in the pocket. QB accuracy for the CPU was 62% (Rogers)

Re: Madden NFL 25 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions (360, PS3)

After about 4 games i'm starting to see the same problems pop up that i've had ever since Madden has been around. The graphics are better but it's the same game. I was playing with gameflow have since gone to calling my own plays and defenses and I'm now dominating time of possession like 3-1. The cpu doesn't play field position or aim kicks out of bounds. The game is slightly better. It actually is slightly tougher. the graphics are great but i can see the same problems occuring that make this game so unplayable. Sliders aren't going to fix it either. Been playing Madden since 89. Maybe i'm just that good at it. I don't think that's it though. I just think EA are really bad developers and can't or won't develop AI to save their lives.

Madden 25, 25 years later is the same freakin game! lol. It's really not even funny. 25 years of what EA honestly. Just shows how stupid people are buying this game year after year. When will it end...

Another example of bad AI form the late half CPU.

I have already encountered the one when they call time outs (game is tied) and they leave me enough time to score and either win or tie the game.

Here is the latest: Tie ball game with under 45 seconds to go in the first half. They have the ball inside my 30 and two time outs left. They pass the ball, complete it, and call a time out. Now they are at 18 seconds to go. They run the ball I stop them and they dont call a timeout. They run another a play with about 7 seconds to go and I tackle them as time expires. They still had a timeout left. Weird

Used these sliders and it was the first time in about 5 games that I would say the game play was tolerable. CPU QB Rogers was still 16-20 but at least I was able to get pressure with 4 and sacked him 5 times.

*sigh* This game still has a long way to go before I believe that the direction is down the SIM road. Zone defense is HORRIBLE for the most part with players still standing around. I have never seen this many wide open receivers in a game since the "wide open game play" nonsense that was NCAA '09. Richard Sherman had 98MCV and 97PRS and you'd never know it. There are still...STILL way too many WWF hits in this game and overall the game just lacks polish and believability.

Sick and tired of hearing the "if it's on Sunday" bs from EA. Penalties? A conscious decision by the devs not to include them. Ratings? A few of them are meaningful. Physics? Are you serious? I would say that true physics are represented in this game about 10% of the time. Stop with the nonsense. Please. And finally, for the X year in a row, the late game management from the CPU leaves a ton to be desired. Yet another VITAL area of the game that the devs have skimmed/glossed over. Sick and tired of the laziness, complacency, arrogance and excuses. Every....freaking...year. Whatever, I can set the price of a hot dog and move the Cowboys to Berlin.

Maybe....maybe with some major overhauls with sliders this game will be playable. Really glad I have Season Ticket.

I actually changed the sliders in the demo and I love how it plays now. It is def more polished than madden 13. In fact I put madden 13 in and played the 49ers against the Ravens . I played a 1:00 o'clock game and I played with the same weather as in the demo. I have to say the graphics and lighting are much better in the demo.

Overall the demo left a positive outlook and I think with alternate camera angles , it will be just as enjoyable as last year.

I WANT to disagree with your post my friend, but I just cannot. I'm really disappointed because I was excited after playing NCAA. I just played on All madden default, Rodgers went 21-22 in the game in a 3 possession OT game. I won the game, but it was ridiculous. Whether I rushed 4 or blitzed he would just sit there in the pocket for 10 seconds. Receivers would run around and finally get wide open. ZERO pass rush again. I just can't get over this. It's a gamebreaker for me. So frustrating.
