I can't really conclude anything from a CGI trailer. The Kyrie solo dribbling clip was the only in-game footage they've show (if it is in fact in-game footage).

Remember the footage from the Microsoft conference a few weeks ago

Exactly people are asking for real footage and yeah there is some definite stiffness from what the last one showed

That trailer they showed at the Microsoft conference was 100% pure horridness, and yes I needed to make up a word to describe how bad it was.

I believe in comparison to the live Tech demo, the second trailer is much closer to what the game is actually going to look like. Personally I did see some slight stiffness as well, but I thought a majority of the player movement looked very fluid, but again we don't know what was CGI and what wasn't, but it was definitely a huge step forward in terms of presentation.

And contrary to everyone elses gripes, I have no issue with the player models in the 2nd trailer. NBA players aren't linebackers, and shouldn't be designed as such.

NBA players don't look like linebackers but they don't look emaciated either.

My biggest concern is that the "BounceTek" will violate the laws of simulation.

Meaning, everyone can just flick the right stick a little a do the same moves, regardless of who the player is.

EA Sports has had a history of making all the players the same in every game. Even the flagship FIFA, has had the same type of issues, where players can pull off moves they really can't in real life. Lately, FIFA has rectified this somewhat, but PES still have players that are more unique imo.

With that said I am rooting for Live to succeed again.

I honestly think they had player models better looking in the past, but the games were so bad nobody cared. Looking at games like Live 07 or 08 had much better models than the anorexic looking models sizes that came later

And back in 2006, that video had people drooling. Visually, that was as big of a leap you could imagine going into next gen.
