Just had an issue last night where my golfer went back to wearing the default clothing. Not sure what caused it.

Rules. I am not canceling my order. I'm having a blast with this game.

Yes there are issues with parts of the game.....There is no issue with me being able to have fun with this game though.

I always get tons of replay value out of this game every year.

Also you would miss out on Bethpage Black DLC for free if you cancel.

I think a Day One patch was in the works, but since a number of other issues have cropped up, I think the Devs are aiming to wipe out as many bugs as possible with the initial patch instead of trying to do one quickie, then another more comprehensive one. There may still be one on Day One, but if there is, then there will likely be a 2nd more comprehensive patch soon after. Again, do not take this as official news from EA.....

Just found out from the EP of TW14 that they will be wiping the online stats once the patch is released, they are figuring out of they will do a complete wipe or remove the stats that are bugged. Also keep in mind that MS and Sony patches require certification and this process takes a minimum of 2 weeks from my experience. Rest assured they are working the issues as quickly as they can and if I had to guess, someone in QA who was in charge of this game is not feeling too good right now (deservedly so).....

Thanks for the impressions... You guys have saved me $70... Can't keep buying these broken games on the idea they'll be fixed. The worst part of this is they put broken games out, just believing they'll fix it as they go. I'm no longer going to do that. I can just wait and save the money...

I think we were all just surprised that there's any significant bugs this time, the last several TW games may have had a design issue or two we didn't like, but don't recall bugs that wiped any data or scoring snafus.

I agree...someone in QA is probably getting taken to the shed this week.

I think the cut bug is not really a bug. I have looked and it seems if you are T-Whatever SHOULD make the cut, you end up being cut because there are people ahead of you that are tied ahead of your score. Therefore, you are outside of the top 50 (atleast what I can tell)

This game is still fun, aggrivating on Sim. I have yet to shoot better than +8. Just can not make the cut at Q school.

How is that not a bug? Even if the top 50 make the cut, that means everyone makes it who are tied, not the ones who are ahead on the list because thier name happens to be in the first half of the alphabet. This is how it was handled last year and there's already one guy here who was cut despite being 3 shots under the cut line.

It's obviously an issue with the game detecting the round over as soon as you finish your round, regardless of the AI golfers simming out the rest of the round. A guy on the EA board was given a victory over Mickelson even though he finished 2 shots behind him because at the time he finished his round he was the clubhouse leader even though Mickelson's round simmed out 2 shots ahead of him.

Also happened to the same guy in a really ridiculous way where the CAG finished his round early at -14 and immediately went into a playoff with Bradley even though Bradley was still on the course, the CAG ended up winning and then after that it went right back to simming the rest of the 4th round where Bradley was given the win instead at -16 and it was as if the playoff never happened. What happened was as soon as the CAG finished his round at -14, Bradley was also -14 at the time so the game ended it prematurely again thinking it was a playoff when it wasn't. Then the playoff result was erased as soon as the 4th round finished simming again right after the playoff.
