More like nba live is dead. Until 2k actually stops trying to improve there game (and there's no evidence that they will), basketball gamers will always have a good option to play. Also, this isn't like the football situation where 2k has an exclusive license or anything like that. Another company could always come along and start a new nba franchise if EA drops out of the game.

Truth? Nah bro that's just uncalled for. You don't like the game so you think people deserve to lose their job. There's no truth in there, just personal opinion. Regardless of the unified banner that is the EA name different people are working on different EA games. The people that work on NHL just know hockey well enough to offer a satisfying experience. That isn't the case with NBA Live. NBA Live was only an acceptable basketball game when the expectations of how a basketball game should play were low because of technological limitations. Come this generation that's no longer the case but NBA Live up until NBA Live 10, to some extent, still played with that jerky arcade feel. No one their deserves to be fired because the problem they have is easily rectified. Just take some time, learn what is expected of simulation video game basketball at this point in time, and come back and give gamers the competition between the NBA Live series and NBA 2K series that they deserve. All they need to do is take good hard look at real basketball and a good hard look at the competition. Diligent study of the game is all that's needed here.

I don't think that's the actual build of LIVE 13. Apparently, a lot of interest in LIVE 13 from all the responses. Good or bad. I think we all know that EA makes good sports games (or can), and the LIVE series had some good versions. NHL 13 looks amazing, as well as Madden and FIFA. I have a hard time believing EA would develop a half-a__ basketball sim. Don't trust this video. Probably a smoke screen of sorts. That said, it's killing me on the status of it. 2K13 has over a dozen screen shots and a few videos. At this point, nothing about the game, so I am presuming it will be delayed. Until I hear it from EA, do not feel like they are going to cancel it.
