The only way I've been able to get a decent rush is to use tuck or move jpp/smith to left end. If I'm going against the left tackle I either end up on the ground or stonewalled most of the time. Once in a while I can speed rush around, but if the LT engages it's over. Much like last year, if you use the right stick before you engage you will usually end up on the ground even if you are blocked by a tight end. I was pancaked with JPP vs Vernon Davis twice while experimenting. Last year I had to move my stud Right DE's like JPP and Jared Allen to Left End in order to get sacks, and it's looking like it will be the same this year unless they fix it. I'm still getting quite a bit of pressure with DT's too.

Kind of mind boggling this hasn't been fixed after all the discussion with the problems last year....

I don't know if this has been posted or not, so forgive me if so. I noticed that if you adjust any sliders for Human or CPU Skills that the Skill level always gets reset to rookie.

The only negative about this demo and they really need to address before the game is released is that the wide receivers drop way too many balls when they are wide open. I just dont understand it, smf

It says rookie, but it uses the custom sliders. They don't have a skill level programmed to say "Custom", so anything modified just gets called rookie.

Who said the physics engine in that game was trash?

If anything, most were impressed by it. However, the reason why many people felt the game as a whole was "trash" was due to things outside of its physics engine like lack of modes, strange gameplay camera angles, strange controls, bad AI, limited options, etc.

But yeah, the majority were impressed by its physics engine at the time.

Anyways, I'm still enjoying Madden 13. Loving the overall feel of the game.

I had a few dropped passes but the majority of them were caught when WRs were wide open.

I'm loving the new trajectories.

I for one did. Calling something a physics engine that doesn't respect gravity, weight or momentum is a huge slap in the face to physics in general.

Theres is where objectivity comes in....what do you think about maddens physics? Do they respect gravity weight and momentum?
