The biggest thing to me is that I cant edit players equipment. I will miss that, but i've said to myself, "if i was a real life coach, I wouldnt tell my linebacker that he has to wear armbands and a visor, I wouldnt tell my running back that he has to wear the the nike swoosh team colored gloves." Players decide that stuff themselves. The new scouting system, with backstories, no potential cap, twitter feed, etc, is all going to make me forget about what equipment these guys are wearing. I will be just as excited when I find a guy in the fourth round that has a 78 overall rating and will make an immidiate impact on my team. And to see how his story goes throughout his career and to see what guys will say on twitter about him will really add to the experience of my franchise. I'm sure i will forget all about what equipment hes wearing.

LOL. If you're going to call somebody out, then at least give concrete examples. Read the thread is no help at all. I have no way to verify how legit your complaint is, so the only recourse is to dismiss it. Again, which two posts/two posters. I'm trying to be fair and open minded with you on this.

Roger that......myself and others have tried to express that we're all in this together and want a game that supports all users. I think emotions come out a little when people pop in and take the whole "who cares I don't use that anyway" attitude towards EA removing modes and features.

As much as we try to keep the conversation about design decisions and how the game should be built around features instead of without them, it always turns back into a "but just think about how online guys felt and look how much better the game is now because we've always wanted this" when thats not entirely true at all. In a perfect world the game would be moving forward for everyone without compromising modes and features IMO.

The sad thing is that I have read every page. I agree that the back and forth is unnecessary, it's only when people involve conjecture, and their opinion as fact that it even gets interesting. When you look at the facts of the matter, the topic itself is quiet boring. None of us should be surprised at the situation. The madden community has become a group of cliques. It shouldn't be this way. One thing we have in common is the game itself and we should respect the way you the individual play the game. You can find the perfect group to fit in. Or you could.

I don't want my "clique" to go away.

@Bucky straight up, I am not getting into a back and forth with you. You guys (the loudest ones) are dragging enough people into unneeded debates.

Well said, but my point is even if someone says "but just think about how online guys felt and look how much better the game is now because we've always wanted this" you still should not be getting into a debate over which one is MORE correct.

The problem is all this constant fighting for zero reason. One group is unhappy, one sees both sides, one loves the changes, and one does not care either way. To create a battle between all these groups because YOU don't agree is WRONG
