The design decisions that have been made for 13 are the most disrespectful and misguided the title has made in a while and they won't get a single penny from me until they repair their relationship with me by making better design decisions.

Just fix Online once and for all and do it without it coming at the expense of features and modes that have been in the game for years and affected a great deal of faithful paying customers. I don't even use offline, but I wanted those users to have as many great features as possible because they deserve them.

You want to make a perfect circle, you don't do it by starting off by designing it with two 90 degree angles.
I don't understand why it amazes you. It's very simple. To some of us, this is the game we've been waiting for. I'm an online and offline player. If we forget about online and talk strictly about offline, I've had trouble maintaining interest in an offline franchise for quite some time. From everything I've seen about 13 so far, I'm excited because I feel like there may finally be enough to keep me playing for much much longer than ever before.

I think it really comes down to the fact that you see this "gut job" as something that is unequivocally fact, when it's extremely subjective opinion. To those of you who heavily utilized those features, yes, it looks like that. To those of us who didn't, not so much.

In my case, I have never had the patience for editing. I tried to add this year's draft class to the game, but quit before I even made it through the first 20 players because of how tedious the creation and editing tools were. I've never imported draft classes due to how screwed up they always came out. And I didn't care for fantasy draft cause even though there are certain players who I'd love to see wearing a star, I don't to play as Dallas without guys like Ware, Romo, Bryant, and Witten. I'm not alone in most of those things, and that's why there are those of us who don't view the removals the same way you do.

The only thing I consider a major oversight is the local multiplayer franchise, and that's without having used that since 08. This is not to say I don't see your point and feel for you, but most of my disagreement tends to come from the way some of you guys end up at your points, not the points themselves.

Simple, direct and in no way rude right?

I was blocked about 15-20mins later.

Not to defend or justify all the blockings, but I've got two reasonable explanations for them. If that's his personal account, he may be getting tired of being blown up every other minute for two weeks straight. If that's not his personal account, there may be someone at EA managing the account.

In both cases I could understand the response, regardless of if I agree or not.

Too believe that there are not two separate modes is to be a bit naive. Isn't online handled server side?
I doubt this is the case. There's probably a line in the code that goes something like "if online = no" to differentiate connected from not.

Ok....so basically you don't use the features that they removed so you're not affected......good for you. I wouldn't expect you to understand at all because you're clearly incapable of taking whats important to you and combining that with whats important to others into consideration.

If you actually read my post I'm sure I was clear that the additions to online were great and much needed, the decision to disrespect faithful customers by removing modes and features in the process is the real issue and you're clearly missing the big picture which is something you have in common with EA.

I can believe that, so if that code is there, it's simply locking offline features. So essentially nothing the users does effects his online side simply because he can't so there has to be two different saves one for online, and one for offline. Why can't the same "Off switch" be applied CC to offline customization... there are already going to be 2 separate save files

Way to go overboard. If you've been reading my posts, you may have noticed that I have taken what's important to others into consideration. Does that mean your unhappiness should temper my excitement for the game?

And what is a faithful customer? Do I qualify for that, having been on the train since 93 without missing a version? Or is that label only accurate for people who are currently upset?

It probably can. If the mode has been built ground up as they're saying, it might very well be a case of actually not being coded in yet. I don't really have a great answer for that.

The Bruno thing was cool, but just a one-year thing. All of the tweets I've seen in that game seem like generic comments about one player. I enjoyed having the newspaper articles there, but never really got caught up in there. I think I'd prefer that over tweets from Skip Bayless and Trey Wingo, but it's the last thing I'd get stuck on.
