Off the top of my head, I can remember that Orton's alt attire is him without the beard...Cena has several alt attires, and guys like Sheamus and Wade Barrett have street clothes as their alternates. I can give you a full rundown when I get back in front of the game later tonight...

Found this on the net about the vacating titles. I hope they patch this. It's ridiculous that most wrestlers will have a title in Universe mode.

"Exhibition mode and Universe mode are separated, you can change titles, have title matches whenever you want in both. You can’t vacate titles in Universe, but you can change the title holder anytime you want in Exhibition"

Have you tried to create your own championship match yet? I would love to see how it works. Also, I would love to see universe mode simulated a couple of years and see how it looks. Maybe less tag team breakups? I may have a solution to your problem about vacating the titles. What I did last year is I made a CAW named vacant, and made him hold the title that I wanted to be vacant. Then, I made "Vacant" lose in a match for the championship on Superstars to the guy I wanted to win it. This may be a solution! Another thing I could think of is take a guy you won't use (Heath Slater for me) and have him hold the title. Edit any matches he has, so that he doesn't appear. Then, when you want that championship to be current again, just have him lose the belt. About the free agents, I would also recommend putting them on a brand you don't use, so that they are stuck "appearing" on that brand, which means they won't appear at all.

Yeah, I was thinking about this. If I can't technically vacate or eliminate all those titles, I'll see if I can just assign them to a crappy create-a-wrestler that I stick on a dead brand. I'll move the legends from the free agents to WCW or NXT and see if that solves that problem. If that's the case, I should be good to go.

In a perfect world, we shouldn't have to jump through hoops like this to get the game to play the way we want, but I'm almost resigned to it after years of playing Madden, NCAA, etc.

Yeah, I did the same thing in the past whenever I wanted a certain title to not appear. Though last year I didn't really have to do that because any of the titles that weren't the main titles that had rankings assigned to them could be vacated. This year Universe and Exhibition are separate so I can understand why that would be different. But yeah, just create a blank CAW and put any titles on him that you don't want to appear, and set him as a free agent or some other brand so he shouldn't come up at all. The good part about being able to assign titles to anyone means that you can "vacate" or "unvacate" any titles without actually having to have any matches for the change to happen. Also last year I tried to see if I could set everyone as a free agent so that nobody would appear in Universe at all. It turned out you had to have at least 2 superstars and one diva be assigned to a brand at all times, probably due to the tag titles and divas titles. But other than that I was able to have everyone in the game be a free agent. So the point is, if you put enough time and work into the Superstar Management, you should be able to end up with whatever result that you want to accomplish.
