They do take advantage of consumers, but consumers give them the ability to. Everyone knows this but not everyone takes control of their abilities to stop it.

I'm still hopeful for this week. The patch notes were released on the 2nd which most likely means that the patch itself was approved on EA's end and ready to ship for MS/Sony certification. While I hope that they did get it done... there is absolutely no proof that they have even finished the patch at all.

But yes, hypothetically if it was submitted at or right around the notes release then it would be coming out soon.

I doubt that EA is still working on the patch. I don't think they would have released patch notes detailing specific changes if they hadn't been solved already. There's no need for them to shoot themselves in the foot more than they have already.

They only reluctantly released the notes, due to the pressure they received from their consumers (us).

You may not be aware, but EA received 1000's of complaints (phone, email, etc) and finally gave in and released a statement. If it had not been for the complaints we may have not (or never) received that info from Ben at that time.

While you may doubt that they are still working on it... that still does not mean that they aren't. For they could still be working on it (I would hope that they are not) but I cannot say one way or another and neither could you.

I cant believe we have had to wait a month so far to even touch dynasty mode. Im getting sick of playing play now games... This is some b.s

I work full time at a college, and with the year starting up and me going back to work in less then 2 weeks, the majority of my time for gaming for the year is up. Really sucks that the game is still broken still. If the fix isn't out until the end of the month I won't even really be able to sit down and enjoy the game until the holiday and winter breaks.
