Yeah the Cover (who?) I mean Cover 2 is a staple base D for me. But I get torched running it this year.

Yeah, I don't want people to think I"m telling them to shut up, I'm just saying I think they need to realize that we need a functional game first, in regards to bugs/glitches, before we start tuning it in how it plays.

BTW - I agree with the LB thing, although I think people exaggerate it a bit more than it occurs, but it def. should be corrected through a tuner set.

I think you are still missing the point. The CPU, and I stress CPU, safety plays like he is parylyzed from the waist down until the reciever is already by him. Then he gets magic legs like forrest gump and tries to pursue the wr but its too late, he is burnt. Happens way too often!

So i can go back to editing rosters, and when the patch drops everyone will go back to their original tendancy

Hopefully the the gameplay issues such as safties can be fixex with a tuner patch. Here are the reasons safties are bad
1. Their awareness is terrible and they can't turn their hips fast enough to pick up the receiver blazing past them.
2. The over use of Cover 2. Over load one side of the field with receivers running deep down the field and that safety with bad awareness and cement for hips is screwed. This can be heple somewhat it the cpu played different deep coverages more often.
3. They play their initial zones to tight to the line of scrimmage. This once again exposes their poor running ability especially if their is a weak jam or no jam at the line.

These things happen on any skill level with any slider settings.

This really is a crying shame.

EA pounds their chests and pat themselves on the back for months about this great new custom conference feature, bragging about it in a blog, and they can't even get a basic thing like scheduling right.

Really, EA? Conference rivals playing a different number of conference games? How does that not completely destroy this feature?

And then the EA apologists wonder why there is so much vitriol on these threads.

I'm happy. Now I won't have 60 spd QB's taking off and ending CPU drives prematurely.

Deep routes are somewhat of an issue and I feel like EA exagarates the slow down between back pedalling and the turn to pursue too much. I wish they would also bring back the option to shade a shoulder. That, fix the Bull rush moves so it's not a 10 second long animation, and scale recruit ratings properly.

(3*'s being only in the 60-68 range, 3*'s should be 63-72 as some 3*'s are consistent starters early on. Not a lot but when again it's an issue of having to recruit higher than realistic levels to get an improved team.)

Hell even give us an option of ranges to put a ceiling and bottom on player ratings (next year obviously) would go a long way to peoples perceptions of where recruits should be.

None the less I'm excited. People are beating down the patch before it is even out. Overkill much?

Oh well, this game's going back to Gamestop tomorrow. The amount of glitches on this game is horrendous. $60 for 60 glitches. I'm definitely not waiting for an end of month patch. Game shouldn't need a patch, it should play correctly out-of-the-box. We beta tested it for them, so they could find messes through us.
