1. Radio show (Tony Bruno or similar?)
2. Highlight shows for the week?
3. Pre, halftime and post game shows?
4. Can I build a new stadium without having to relocate a team and change it's name? (I'm dying to get an outdoor stadium for the Vikings).
5. Front office stuff- ticket prices, etc.
6. Did they say anything so far (not just today) about players being disgruntled, holding out, not signing, email you to gripe etc.?
7. Scouting reports on teams you are going to play?
8. Newspapers or some other media that tracks your team?

Each of these items has appeared in some shape or form in the past. I'm hoping they are "in the game" because they are big part of the immersion that so many people talk about. If they are not in the game I will still enjoy playing, as I've enjoyed M11 franchise mode. But the better they make it the more I will enjoy it.
So..anyone hear ANYTHING about these features?
you can ask these questions over at the EAsports forums, damole is answering franchise mode questions and i have an answer to two of yours from reading his replies.

I'd imagine it would have to be in Franchise mode. Can't imagine a guy like Reggie Bush not playing any different from Michael Turner, or Michael Vick not playing differently from Tom Brady.
Ah, gotcha. I didn't make the connection, thanks

I have very little doubt it will be a good amount better in the way it feels and plays over Madden 11 (which I enjoyed very much on the field). The fact that they revamped the tackling and defensive AI has me believing that you will have to really work to score points. My only concern is if they revert back to Madden 10 in the passing game. Where as in Madden 11 the passing game was back and without sliders just "over the top" in the amount of deep balls you could complete. Madden 10 was lacking any type of vertical game what so ever. I hope the happy medium has been found in where if you call the right play and time it right you can hit the occasional big play over the top as well as complete some nice chunk yardage passing plays.

Either way things are looking so solid. We are finally getting a true next gen Madden that can be played for years to come as long as all this works together in harmony. I can't really see why it won't if you really think about it. They ignored franchise in Madden 11 so they have been working on this for 2 years.

Nice!!!!

Although it was trivial in Madden 07 it was cool to set prices and see the dynamic attendance (don;t know if it is in this year) work pretty well. Heck I remeber starting off 0-3 in a Dolphins chise on Madden 05 and I did a fan promotion for my next home game and saw the ticket sales and attendance in the stadium increase. Those touches are always nice.

I hear ya. I'm not saying it perfect. We don't know.

I'm referring to all the claims that the modes were pretty much neglected in favor of presentation just because that was the first blog.

Re: Madden NFL 12 Blog - Franchise Mode in Madden 12

So excited!, sexually eroused doesn't begin to cover it. I can't wait to see if they put any of this stuff into the online franchise. Honestly as long as they include expanded rosters, salary cap logic, and the new FA system to online i'll be fine. I've been debating as to whether I wanted to start my first online franchise this year or just stick with my usual 30 team user controlled offline. At this point I'm leaning towards sticking to offline unless the online gets a major upgrade.

AWESOME WORK EA!
