I don't get why people are so down. It certainly seems to lack some of the fancier animations and flair from 10 but this looks like the best job yet ea has done with the fundamental b-ball stuff which was what the series has lacked most imo...

You are right...everyone is entitled to their opinion...I have the other game...I played it for about 2 weeks and got bored...now I'm over here hoping for something to happen...anyway - back to the topic of discussion...

Thank you...maybe most people were looking for this game to "demolish" the other one this year...maybe my expectations were lower...I'm thrilled to see EA trying a different approach than we have seen before...

Man, i'm sooo sorry but saying "something different" is kinda weird because they changed NBA Live to NBA Elite? that's the only logical thing i can think of. Everything about Elite compare to 2K11 is absolutely old and there is nothing new and "different" about it at all... c'mon please open your eyes... please... just play NBA 2K10 for crying out loud and look at the new, cool, amazing and different stuff that NBA 2K11 has... please be real man... i was a EA fanboy before but 2K changed it... true...

It's such an uphill battle for Elite. I feel bad for the guys busting their asses on this game because there was a decision probably from someone up high to almost scrape all the progress they made last year. Now 2k is putting the stranglehold on big time, and the developers only have this. In one year's time they did a lot but it just won't be good enough for consumers. I believe the demo will help a little, but in the end, it's just too much to overcome, especially with 2k really pushing hard this year.

what i want to know is what made nba live 10 so "fun" considering it was of lower quality than 2k10. is it the learning curve to 2k's game?
