from what I understand this game seems like NFL Blitz, or NFL street just without the license agreement. I'll take a look at it on PS3 since you need Gold to download it. but unless they get to use real NFL players, I don't see this thing taking off

Am I playing the same demo I did yesterday??? lol.
Weird.
I have been able to successfully run the ball today. Yesterday, I couldn't do anything even against the worst team.

Well I can't imagine you got that "understanding" from this thread.

O RLY?!?!?!?!

Dude, go read about the game and certainly dont post if you have not played or seen it. The, "it seems like blitz," statement has been disproved a million times and now is to the point of simply making who ever says it looks silly.

The passing game is much easier to play with alternate controls. There was a weird glitch on a punt return were there was a pile up on the ground and all the players kept jumping in and out of the pile. I had to quit the game because it just kept going.

Passing is a lot of fun. If you get used to the controls it can be a pretty big rush. I think the deep ball doesn't look that great at times, I haven't really been able to lead my WR in stride. I just end up getting 25 yard jump balls all the time. I like how we need to crow hop if it's a deep throw... takin' a page from APF

I love how messy it is running the ball, no doubt. Still, this game needs to play well online to warrant serious gaming time IMO.

These tackles don't get old. It's refreshing to go into every play with the mindset that you could really light someone up and see a truly amazing play.

QB play gets better on hard against good QB's. They actually make decisions lol.

To recap

4) DB super swat issues

6) QB being able to stand in the pocket all day
7) QB being able to drop back 10-20 yards and consistently complete throws
8) RB spinning/breaking out of the grasp of 4-5 of your best defensive players in one delayed motion
9) Tron jogging
10) Hit stick automatic suction, big hit tackle animation
11) Lack of momentum issues
12) Same animations
13) Nano blitz exploit
14) A glaring problem with game play physics
15) WR's not jumping to make spectacular catches
16) OL refusing to double team block on pass plays
17) No scripted plays that make you feel cheated
18) No ROBO QB that is almost impossible to sack
19) Players ratings that do not matter
20) Players gliding across the field, but I guess that is part of the physics part
Just realized that these exploits or cheese if you want to call it that are NOT present in backbreaker. Or at least it's safe to assume it won't be in the final version of backbreaker.

20. The famous b.s. 10 and 11 man zones that people would run in madden will not be in backbreaker, due to the fact that you thankfully cannot hot route the entire defensive line into zone.

21.You cannot throw to your runningback or wideout without timing the pass. Remember this includes your runningbacks and fullbacks. What this means is people cannot abuse throwing to their runningbacks all day. The camera angle in backbreaker has eliminated people from sprinting to the right side of the field and without looking throwing a pass to the left flats etc. and vice versa. Remember how people did this all day with screens in madden.

Help me out with this question guys, can you run this exploit in backbreaker, manually reposition the defensive line PRIOR to the snap. In other words can you take a right defensive end and manually move him all the way over to the left side of the screen prior to the snap?
