That is very possible, and I sure as heck hope that is the case. The AI seems kind of dumbed down and I hope it's due to demo constraints and/or the fact that quarters are 2 minutes.

Then again I wouldn't count on that being true. Let's hope for the sake of my $44.99 that it is.

i doubt that. I think the small demo size is because they're really efficient programmers. There are no loads virtually and the game looks great. From what I understand things like textures and moving parts take up the most file sizes graphical assets etc. The fact that so many 'animations' are created on the fly via the engine probably brings it down a bunch too.

No you're not sounding like a jerk by saying that.I'm just hoping there are ways to improve this and I would be very pleased with the game. This one thing is something that would kill the game IMO if the A.I. is really that bad for the computer offense.

too much risk for a 'failed demo' if thats the case

Thats what I just thought about. The demo help thread states he is the best QB in that particular league. We might be playing with the worst league in the game. These teams are probably the first league you are in in Road to Backbreaker.

That's a fair guess. But even if he is in the middle of the pack, the rate at which I have seen the CPU throw INT"s at such a rate.

Even the worst QB's in most leagues won't throw 3 INT's in 4 minutes of gameplay. At least not on a semi-regular basis.

To what extreme are we talking about? Are you talking about the NFL average of things or a fictional league where this might be the norm. Some of the offenses in there are rated in the 40's. If lets say, a QB in the 90's in this game throws lets say Drew Brees number, what would a 40 something rated quarterback do?

In what league ever would throwing 3 picks in 4 minutes ever be considered with in the realm of normality?

Come on, I understand the need to defend the game, but let's stay in the realms of reality when doing so.
