Oh well I rest my case...

Sooooooooooo excited for the next versions of the roster
Thanks for making this game much cooler
Please continue. I would love to hear why you think that Ramos in superior to the list of catching prospects with A potentials? Dont forget Max Stassi either. The only names I would test here would be the SCEA guys. I dont find Moore or Flowers A's right now.

Once again if you have Montero as an A then his catching abilities will improve like an A and he is not that. Even the Yanks dont think he is a catcher and right now he cant even run out a ground ball. I agree Posey and Santana as A's no doubt. Flowers only threw out 18 percent of hitters in AAA. I just think if your a catcher with an A potenial you have to not just be good on one side or the other you have to be good at one end and at least decent at the other. Ramos is better defensively than Flowers and has a better arm.

this is kind of why I wish different categories had different potentials... at least in a general sense like hitting potential, defense potential, baserunning potential... something like that

it'd be even cooler if they were more specific like power potential, etc...

I also think things like speed and arm strength should be a fairly fixed attribute.. those pretty much are what they are, and wouldn't really change much in real life

Had a random question here, but any idea of the potential on a kid like Daniel Fields in the Tigers system? I heard they were moving him to the outfield already and he was drafted as a shortstop. Baseball America stated that he has first round talent, and that he was the best athlete in the Tigers draft. Supposedly he can hit and they like him in the outfield, my question to anyone, is this true?

My point has been for a while now that Ramos deserves a place among those top 8 catching prospects that I mentioned. He shows real potential. He is ranked higher by BA than the SCEA guys (I understand that they won't be changed).

At 22 years old with pop and a cannon Ramos is a legit prospect. And while you may not like him more than the others on the list Ksig... you could as easily be proven wrong in the future, as any one of those prospects that are rated as an A could prove to be a bust. I am not saying that their ratings should go to Ramos (except for Flowers and Moore and they won't be changed).

Anyway, like I said, I rest my case cause I have been beating this to death.

Out of curiousity Ksig, who is the player that you are thinking you would throw the A potential rating? And why is it that you don't see Ramos as an A prospect along with the others? (This is not for sake of argument... I truly want to know your opinion on this).

Okay just for guys that are wondering about time on my end, i'm not going to comment on that. When I start though I will probably give you guys daily updates of how many teams are done and you can predict the date with my speed if you choose to.

Unless Razr tweaked the spreadsheet, this is what I have for Lincecum (edits based on movement, not grips):

2-seam fastball
12-6 curve
circle-change
slider
running fastball

I hope that works for u.
