Probably looking like mid-June for all of that...at the earliest.

Curious, is the Jim Edmonds being a rookie thing, going to be fixed now that he is listed through SCEA as a actuall member of the Brewers. His real pic and years of service etc, are accurate. Plus are all the roster moves since opening day going to be updated in this release? Thanks.

Hey Knight...wanted to check in on what potential you had Tanner Scheppers at. I think the overwhelming thought is that he may flame out early due even as a RP to arm injuries but his stuff is really good.

Currently (11 innings, 0.82 ERA, 0.27 WHIP, 19 Ks, 0 BBs in AA)

There is a good chance he comes up this year for the Rangers as a setup type pitcher and could have a Neftali Feliz type impact down the stretch.

Anyway...i would think A potential but very low durability would be perfect for him...maybe he's already listed as such.

They won't be able to use that SCEA created version of Edmonds because the roster they're using was made before SCEA updated him. They'd have to download the latest SCEA updated roster and then redo all they've done up to this point. So no, it won't be fixed now.

The rosters will be accurate to opening day rosters, so no transations following opening day will be there.

Hey Knight,

Have you ever talked to Russell or anyone about making it possible to save individual created players? This way you could load them into an updated version of an SCEA roster?

I know why college players can't be used in video games, but it doesn't seem like that rule would apply to minor league baseball players. They're all professional athletes being paid money. So it just a licensing agreement that's holding up SCEA being able to add full minors themselves? It'd be awesome if this happened. I'd hope they'd hire you to lead that every year if it did.

I'm pretty sure it's an A....I don't know what I have his durability as.
I really hope SCEA puts in another attribute next year...and injury one and leave the durability to only influence a players readiness to play day to day......with the injury on concentrating on his tendency to go down with an injury.

Okay....21 teams down and 9 to go.
I have a super busy week this week, so I'll let you guys know the progress.
You guys will definitely be happy with the results though.....as I finish each team, I sim to the Future game now and look at the results. I love my 1B tandem of Justin Smoak and Ike Davis! (yeah....I didn't move him up to the MLB...I get to use him in the minors.)
Even so...Nick Weglarz was the hero in yesterday's run...hitting a homerun in the eighth off of Andrew Cashner(yeah...I used him in relief....it's an ALL-STAR game right!?) to put the World ahead. My PH Dee Gordon made it interesting in the ninth.....tripling with one out...but I couldn't get the tying run across.
Played the game at Shea....Ike Davis looked very nice there.
Stanton homered for USA as well...a monster shot to LF.

Keep you guys posted.

Actually, I have.
I would love the idea of being able to download individual players and inserting them into rosters.
I know it's possible.....and would technically put me out of "business"(hey I CAN play a few games a year! )....but I don't know how interested they were in this.
Believe it or not....I think the pressure from the MLB to lock in a lot of this is pretty strong, silly as it sounds. The MLB is a little oppressive with what it will allow with things being open ended for edit. They probably had to convince them to allow us to be able to be able to edit fake players in the game!
I know they won't allow certain names and nicknames to be in(I see they finally were able to sneak "Dick" in).
This is one of the reasons I don't hold any hope for a custom league feature(for recreating past seasons).
