The player lock is growing on me. I thought it was stupid at first but it gives me one of the third person views I have often asked for. This game needs tweaks to say the least but it is fun

After another game I am still impressed.

+Don't know if the game is slower, but the players feel like they have more weight and move more deliberate.

+Pocket is nice

+Pass rush seems good to me, not great but good.

+Lots of new animations.

+Player lock

-Zig zag running by the cpu on occasion.

-CPU running game seems a little anemic.

-To many dropped passes.

-Oh, and the referee looks like a copse lol.

Question: Is adaptive AI in? Because it seems like the cpu defense is MUCH better and smarter.

it seems as if OU specifically targets Gresham versus me. I like that they try and get him the ball

I just finished downloading the demo and only played a game and a half but I liked what I've seen in that short time:

- I was able to get some pressure both manually and the CPU controlled guys. It was a jail break on every play but I was able to get in the area of the QB and get some pressure every now and then.

- I liked how my WR was bumped off his route a couple of times when running in the middle of the field (ala those short middle routes that were killers last year).

- I liked how there were a good number of inaccurate throws by both myself and the QB. Some were pressure induced and some were just bad passes.

- I liked the fact that I could attempt a pass between the hashes and didn't field liek a LB would spring out of nowhere and leap 50 ft in the air to make the pick.

btw, I was playing on AA. I know it was only a short test frame, but I liked what I saw so far.

Im going a a bit of a post streak but I like the jostling between the DB's and WR's they added this year. Anyone else thrown off that swat pass is LB (xbox) this year. They have new swat animations after the person has caught the ball

I absolutely hate the lb swat right now, It will take some getting use to definatly.

I don't remember the run game being this bad last year. There's a very simplistic, "break block, don't break block" logic going on here. There's no sense of filling gaps, leverage, reads, etc. here. The higher the difficulty, the more the "break block, don
't break block" logic occurs.

It's either a real big run or a 1 yard loss to 1 yard gain with a few 3-7 yard gains in between. It should be the other way around.
