I've never seen a play like that in the NCAA series and it looked really smooth and unforced.
Just played my first two games. This exact thing happened to me, except I got hit while throwing, the ball kind of went through the air a little, and a lineback ran and picked it off. He then got promptly nailed by my o-line and then fumbled it, which allowed my wide reciever to come over and pick it up.

Pretty humorous. Game isn't to bad right now. I like the change of pace.

To my knowledge this is what supposed to happen outside of the hashmarks confusion

This is by far the worse football game of all time. and that says alot concerning the last 4 years of crappy football games on next gen consoles.

no way im paying for a ncaa 09 part II.

Go kick rocks ill see you august 14th to buy a real football game that showed effort.

Played the demo a few more times. I got used to the graphics and there doesn't seem to be so much of a frame rate issue as I stated on the PS3. There are glitches but it's a demo. To be expected. I like the new animations a whole lot. Waist tackles, nice shoestring catch animations, it's a bunch to name that I noticed but I like. I gotta boost up to Heisman or sumthin cuz Varisty is way too easy. I think playing the speed of Madden 09 has really boned up my game playing.

Exact same thing happened to me but unfortunately for me it happened on 4th down.

not sure i'd say worst football games of all time in my opinion, but yeah, i'm really disappointed in this game. generally speaking, same game as last year and same graphics, but with slight improvements that don't get to the core of the gameplay. big disapointment. guess i'll be in the madden forum...

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here

Well I tried it out on both systems (360 and PS3) while my Sox are in rain delay...

Positives:

-Animations seem a little more fluid (or maybe just less repetitive)

-slowed down gameplay makes the game feel less "arcadey"

-Like the new strategy element in the gasmeplanning.

-running seems better...contact feels less "pinball like"

-coverage seems improved. Guys seemed to stick to their man a bit better.

Negatives:

-Feels largely unchanged from 09

-I ran the ball up the middle and literally went through two LBs (as in, I could see half my body on one side, and the other sticking out the back end) leading to a breakaway run. It happened twice for the CPU as well. (PS3 version)

-Commentary. New announcers or completely new lines should be necessary at this point, IMO

-Presentation. Or lack thereof. It's a bit dry. There are some nice touches (like the band at the intro, some of the TD celebrations, etc) but overall there is nothing about the atmosphere that draws you in.

-Pass rush. Guys still seem to get suctioned to blockers and seem to get hung up too long.

-Still a lot of underneath stuff available for both you and the AI.

-PS3 stability is questionable at times. There are some noticeable hiccups in comparison to the 360 version...especially in wider shots it seems.

-Also, graphics for both are relatively unimpressive (though not a huge deal...they look good enough) but the PS3 seems less "crisp" overall.

Overall, I'm unimpressed. It was not horrible, just not very exciting. I enjoyed playing the first couple times (nice to fire up a football game) but it just felt like more of the same to me. Hopefully a rental of the complete game will be a bit more enjoyable for me. I was a renter hoping to buy (mainly due to teambuilder and the promise of tighter gameplay) but now I'm just a renter (for now, at least).
