Re: NCAA Football 10 Blog: Pocket Protection

So, what you really meant to say there is that refs and chain gangs were too small of a feature to affect your score in any substantial way.

Given this fact, I am baffled that you are so upset that they aren't in the game.

Look, I'm not saying that presentation and graphics aren't important. They are. What I'm saying is that refs and chain gangs are such a ridiculously small part of those categories that almost nobody would substantially change their opinion of the game one way or the other based on whether or not they were included. Think about other presentation items, like commentary, field textures, player models, animations, replay angles, etc...Those things ARE big enough factors that if they were missing, people would be able to express a difference in their opinion about the quality of the game.

The fact of the matter is that no matter what you think about NCAA 09 (or 10), the inclusion or exclusion of referees on the field would not make any sort of substantial impact on your opinion of the game.

If QBs are penalized for throwing on the run and/or without setting their feet, everything will work perfectly. It will also be harder because the DE is coming around the edge, so rolling out may cause you to roll right into the DE.

The fact of the matter? So what I really meant to say?

Why even have a conversation with you? You are going to tell me what I think next next. You seem to know just what impact these things have on my enjoyment. Can you also tell me how well my dinner will taste and could you put it in a 1-100 review score while you are at it?

I am going to take a clue from Countryboy and take an "exit stage left now."

- rhombic u probably say most of what i don't in these posts....its too bad a guy with a great mind roots for the wrong team. Mr Flynn and Devo too much for Griffin and Co.

this is exactly how i feel when people worry about more visor brand names and facemasks, sock color, chin straps....irrelevant schitt that would make 10 as crappy as 09.

I think everybody wants better gameplay but its not an either or thing. We can and should have both improvements in this game everyyear.

That looks 10x better than those USC pics earlier. Now lets hope that once that engage they dont stick to eachother but slide off. Maybe with some realistic pockets DT push will matter more in the game but I know I'm pushing it here. Thanks for atleast adding the animations.

Still no word on double teams? The 3-4 defense revolves around a big guy in the middle that demands a double team. OL/DL INA isnt complete without double teams.
