Strength and weight need to matter also, in order for the 3-4 defense to really work. In madden and NCAA thus far, speed is the all powerful rating while size and strength mean almost nothing.

Put it in there anyway. They won't know because they don't play the game and we won't tell.

They did in NCAA Football 06 I believe. I got my team put on probation for academics. I believe the feature was called the ncaa interest meter. Yu would get a message before the start of a game that a playrt violated either team, school, or ncaa rules and you had to act accordingly.

March Madness 08 had the same sort of thing.

OMT was responding to someone talking about recruiting violations and steroid use.

See the quote I replied to:

Do they tell you that you can't have recruiting violations or steroid tests or anything like that? I think having the potential for scandals and stuff like that would be a great addition for Dynasty.

Right. On PS2 it is for things like missing class and stuff.

I don't like the way it is done on PS2. First off, to be able to punish players you needed to have "points" which you would set aside for.. but it came out of your training and recruiting. Secondly, to prevent you from cheesing the system by suspending a 3rd string tackle for the season for a minor infraction to drop your NCAA Interest meter, it was always one of your top 10 players that got in trouble... no matter what their discipline was.

I'd like to bring it back one day, but it needs to be done a lot better than it was originally (NCAA 05 I believe).

Strike another thing off the board that would make the dynasty more engaging

Hopefully recruiting is upgraded. I'm Mizzou and have won 6/8 BCS titles, and still every year I can't come CLOSE to competing with Texas or Miami. I realize the logic of in-state guys and stuff, but my dominance would overcome that in reality.
